Ancient Orb - Armor is obtained as a bonus reward for completing Field Surveys and Investigations in High Rank starting from 6-star quests.

Ancient Orb - Armor will start appearing as quest rewards for 7 and 8-Star Field Surveys and Investigations.

How to Use Ancient Orb - Armor

Automatically Appraised After Quests

Automatically Appraised After Quests

All Ancient Orbs obtained after a quest is automatically appraised in the Appraisal Box, after you take your main rewards.

During appraisal, any Ancient Orb - Armor and Ancient Orb - Sword you've acquired will become a random Armor Decoration and Weapon Decoration, respectively, before going into your inventory.

best bet is to try and do investigations or check your map and view monsters from there and you should be able to see the orbs

Which quests give these? Ive been farming tempered monster and haven't got 1
