You can also obtain Risen Dragon Thickblood from breaking parts and carving the same monsters listed above in Lv. 241-300 Anomaly Investigations.
We recommend hunting a Risen Shagaru Magala with a Light Bowgun build like the one linked below to easily farm for Risen Dragon Thickblood.
Use this ranged weapon to create some distance between you and the monster to lessen the risk of being hit with a powerful move while dealing damage from far away as quickly as you can.

Please stop spamming LBG builds on everything anomaly related. Its not informative nor helpful. The point of farming endgame is to do it on your main. This not an MMO where you farm on one weapon then use another. And all just so you can avoid one move that doesnt even hurt is stupid anyway.

Agreed. And in this case specifically, I think it's actively harmful advice. Some monsters might be easier with ranged weapons, but I don't think Risen Shagaru Magala is one of them. Most of its most dangerous attacks have a ranged component, whereas it mostly can't hit you if you stick close to the back legs.
