Final Boss Preview
The Final Boss for Monster Hunter Rise was supposedly teased on the March 8th, 2020 Official Livestream on the Monster Hunter YouTube channel. Ibushi and Narwa: Two Elder Dragons
Wind Serpent Ibushi
The source of the Rampage is revealed to be the elder dragon Wind Serpent Ibushi, the large dragon emerging from the clouds that has been teased during the trailers. The Kamura Village hunters must end the rampage by defeating Ibushi via a Rampage siege battle.
Lightning Serpent Narwa
Ibushi, though the source of the Rampage is not the final challenge for the Hunters of Kamura village. The Lightning Serpent Narwa serves as both Ibushi's partner and the true final boss fight.
If you look closely at the Monster Hunter Rise logo, you can then see the head of two different serpents. The top serpent being Ibushi, and the bottom being Narwa. These dragon like serpents blast the land with wind and lighting, chasing one another in a cycle that may have lasted for many years.
Wyverian Twins are Connected
Is it mere coincidence that a village with two Wyverian sisters residing in it, is plagued by the aftermath of two serpents fighting? Perhaps the presence of Hinoa and Minoto is connected somehow to the presence of Ibushi and Narwa.
