Guts (Tenacity) is a Group Skill under the Lord's Soul group that boosts attack and lowers defense in Monster Hunter Wilds (MH Wilds). Learn the effects of Guts (Tenacity) and armor sets with Guts (Tenacity).

Guts (Tenacity) boosts your attack by +5% but weakens your defense by -5%. When struck by a lethal hit while above the health threshold, Guts (Tenacity) activates, you'll survive and have the effects change to +5% defense and +3 resistance.
Guts (Tenacity) Threshold
The threshold for Guts (Tenacity) can be seen at your health bar, indicated by a yellow line. If you get struck by a lethal hit while your HP is above this threshold, Guts (Tenacity) activates, letting you survive with 1 HP.
Lethal Hit Threshold
A lethal hit is a single attack that would result in carting while your HP is above the Guts threshold. While you normally would be carted, the activation of Guts (Tenacity) prevents it.
Attacks below the Guts threshold that results in carting will not activate Guts (Tenacity).
Attack Boost Is Based on Weapon's Base Raw
The +5% increase to attack is based on the currently equipped weapon's base raw. This means that skills like Counterstrike, Agitator, and Adrenaline do not benefit from this bonus.

- Guts (Tenacity)
Above is the order in which the reviving skills/effects would take place. The newest addition, Guts, takes effect last when it comes to hunter revival.
Effects Before and After Guts (Tenacity) Activation Do Not Stack
The effects of Guts (Tenacity) before activation (+5% attack and -5% defense) do not stack with the effects of Guts (Tenacity) after activation (+5% defense and +3 resistance).
