Main Objectives
1	Hunt the Tempered Balahara ▶︎ Monster Hunt: Balahara

Hunt the Tempered Balahara

1	Talk to Y'Sai in Kunafa Village near Area 1 of the Windward Plains. Find him during daytime, in good weather. He usually walks around the village so make use of your mad to follow his icon. A Tempered Balahara has attacked the Vanguard and he is asking for your help to subdue the monster.
2	Find Alma and accept the Optional Quest A Leviathan's Temper to start the hunt.
3	Make sure that you are prepared before you take off after the Tempered Balahara. When ready, you can find the Balahara in Area 12 of the Windward Plains.
4	Report back to Y'Sai in Kunafa Village after completing the hunt.

How to Beat Balahara






Balahara Fight Tips
Most of Balahara's attacks are frontal attacks.Most of it's attacks can be avoided by dodging to the side. Avoid Balahara's Mud Spit attacks, as they inflict Waterblight. If you're hit, use a nulberry or evade repeatedly to remove the effect. Use Screamer Pods when the Balahara is submerged to force it to resurface.
