Wingdrake Hide+ Farming Locations
Look for Baunos in Windward Plains Area 4 (High Rank)
The best way to farm for Wingdrake Hide+ is to go to the Windward Plains Area 4, where 9 to 11 Baunos can spawn. You can go to this location by fast traveling to Area 4: West base camp.

The Chains of Life Optional Quest
The target monster of this quest, Arkveld, can be first found near Area 4: West base camp where the flock of Baunos is found. This quest leads the player close to the Baunos flock and consistently spawns them. Moreover, the quest can be repeated many times to farm Wingdrake Hide+ quickly.

Look for Harpios Scattered in the Scarlet Forest
Alternatively, players can also look for Harpios in the Scarlet Forest. However, Harpios do not flock together like Baunos and can be usually found in groups of 3.

How to Get Wingdrake Hide+
Carve Baunos and Harpios in High Rank
Players can obtain Wingdrake Hide+ by carving Baunos and Harpios. Both small monsters have a 100% of dropping the material when carved. Baunos can be found in the Windward Plains while Harpios can be found in the Scarlet Forest.
Note that players must be in the High Rank versions of the mentioned locales to carve out Wingdrake Hide+.
Use the Slinger to Bring These Creatures Down
To kill these monsters more easily, players can use their slingers to bring them down. To do this, they must aim with their slinger, point at the Baunos or Harpios, and press the "F" key or the circle button, as shown in the video above.
