Cutting the arms of Nu Udra is recommended as it gives you extra carves.
Arms can only be cut by weapons that deal severing or cutting damage. Try to use Shock Traps to hold a monster in place, coupled with the Partbreaker skill to cut the arms quickly.
Be mindful not to kill the monster before cutting its arms. Otherwise, you'll miss out on the extra carve!

Sinister Sneer Optional Quest
When going to hunt Nu Udra, it is recommended to take the Sinister Sneer optional quest. This will guarantee Nu Udra spawning in the Oilwell Basin and the player will have a chance to get the Nu Udra Flamegem drop from the quest rewards.
