Hunt 7 or 8-Star Tempered Monsters

Hunter Symbol 3 can be obtained as a Quest Reward by hunting 7 or 8-Star Tempered Monsters. These hunts become accessible after you finish the HR40 mission, What Lies Ahead, which is the final story mission. 7 and 8-Star Tempered Monsters will start appearing once you reach HR41 or above.

7 to 8-star Tempered Monster Hunts that reward you with Hunter Symbol 3 are only available as Field Survey Quests. Be sure to frequently check your World Map for 7 or 8-Star Tempered Monsters, and save their Field Survey Quests as Investigations if you plan on completing them at a later time.
