First Encounter: Nothing Frozen, Nothing Gained Description: Jin Dahaad is a large Leviathan that rules as the Apex Predator of Iceshard Clliffs. It can shoot a powerful beam of ice from its mouth that can freeze hunters. |

Jin Dahaad consistently provides 2 Monster Hardbone as a reward when hunted. Note that players can only get this material once they are in High Rank.
Additionally, avoid hunting a Tempered Jin Dahaad as its difficulty class is one star higher, removing Monster Hardbone from the rewards for the hunt.

Additionally, High Rank Investigations with monsters of 7 Stars or higher can have the Monster Hardbone drop as a reward.
Note that to access such Investigations, players will need to be at least Hunter Rank 41, and have cleared the mission What Lies Ahead.
