Sunbreak Best Weapon Tier List (March 2024)（Page 2）Comment

It looks like LBG became useless in Sunbreak, even Team Darkside uses only GS and LS! Guess I'll be forced to change from LBG to GS or LS now. *sigh* I liked the LBG gameplay tho...

Is this list some kind of troll list? LS in SS while Bow & LBG are below it? Bow is still SS, the nerfs changed nothing, while LS got its shit kicked in with the harsh nerfs. I would even put LBG at SS because of its amazing mobility, consistend dps, and ability to inflict status with ease. Gunlance (my main) is still one of the worst weapons in the game due to slow garbage animations, and is heavily reliant on having 3 bugs + WW. Not everyone can play GL like Ryo.

Puts LBG down tiers even though my spare shot III, pierce up III, rapid fire up III, attack boost IV, etc etc build is doing sustained damage of over 14-20 per hit on weak points with RF pierce II. I haven't even worked in WEX or CB. There's a thing called sustain and LBG has it in spades. :P

Bow is still very good, lv 3/4 charge attack elemental dmg increased so i guess now the priority is just going to buff elemental dmg which is a lv1 slot compared to previous raw dmg which needs atk/crit etc.. a lv 2 slot, i would say it didn't change at all overall since there is focus shot, which is pretty insane on the dmg boost when in the right spot

i love the dual blades for there strength and speed ive beaten all monsters with these weapons (sinister blades are my top) and there very strong when you activate the sinister blades power combined with magmalo soul upgrade doing over 100 damage randomly.

in monster hunter rise the hunting horn takes a huge step up and makes this weapon a great solo weapon, the best solo weapon in my opinion

My personal go to weapon has got to be the bow. It’s literally insane with damage and pretty easy to use. I also enjoy the long sword but it just got boring. The great sword is well, great but it’s really slow and one of my favourite parts of rise is the incredible speed of movement. Currently I am using the switch axe though. I just love the elemental discharges the ability to have to weapons in one so currently it’s my favourite. I also like insect glaive but the damage isn’t that good.

Why is the hunting horn called a hunting horn in monster hunter rise? It is a guiter :P

Whenever I charge up my hammer attack and spike an enemy on the head, it feels satisfying.

Immortality, damage, buffs.

For me the longsword is the Definition of „flow like water and strike like lightning“ It allows you to bypass and evade attacks while dishing out tons of damage yourself, all the time just dancing around the monster effortlessly. Of course I love all the other weapons I Main but the longsword just is kind of special to me.
