How to Get Akuma α Armor Set

Complete Ultimate Strength Side Mission

The Akuma α full armor set can be obtained by crafting it with SF6 Tickets from the new Ultimate Strength and True Strength Arena Quests introduced in the Street Fighter 6 collaboration.

The Ultimate Strength side mission can be started by talking to Quinn, the Vespae Unit handler at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp. You'll need to be at least HR 21 to accept the side mission.

Equip Full Armor Set or Layered Armor Use Actions from the Item Bar

Equip Full Armor Set or Layered Armor

You must equip the full armor set or the layered version to gain access to Akuma's unique item and gestures. The armor set have individual parts but cannot be equipped separately.

Equipping Only the Layered Armor Reduces Special Move Effectiveness

Note that choosing to only equip the layered version of the armor will decrease the effectiveness and damage of these special moves as compared to using the full armor set. The list of changes are as follows:

Use Actions from the Item Bar

Assisted Combo: Akuma	• Select from the item bar, where you can continue pressing "X" up to three times • Press "△" or "◯" to chain other combos • Can also be chained to Chain Impact, Gou Hadoken, and Gou Shoryuken
Drive Impact: Oni Goroshi	• Select from the item bar • Can also be triggered using "L2" + "R1" during Assist Combo • Requires full Drive Gauge
Gou Hadoken	• Can be set from the inventory like a slinger ammo • Fired with "R2" • Can be used during Assist Combo
Gou Shoryuken	• Select from gestures

Akuma's special actions and techniques can be used as items and gestures upon equipping the Akuma armor set. Remember to register the Gou Shoryuken on your radial menu or shortcut bar to access this move easily!

How to Perform Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu

Hit a Monster's Wound or Weak Point With a Drive Impact

Drive Impact Controls	With a full Drive Gague meter: ・ Select and use the Drive Impact item ・ or use the Assisted Combo: Akuma item and perform a Focus Strike (L2 + R1)

To perform Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu or Raging Demon super, you would have to hit a monster's wound or weak point with a Drive Impact.

You can do a Drive Impact by doing a Focus Strike during an Assist Combo, or by using the Drive Impact item. A full Drive Gauge is required to perform a Drive Impact.

Use the Secret Command Inputs

Shun Goku Satsu (Raging Demon) Input Command	> > + Square > Square > Triangle + Circle (Playstation) > > + E > E > Left Click + Right Click (PC)

As a secret easter egg, you can perform Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu or Raging Demon super by inputting it's official command input from the Street Fighter games.

Doing it through this method makes it so that Akuma performs a short dash similar to the original fighting game. However, there is no difference in the damage dealt compared to the intended way to do it.

The Akuma armor and its layered version might only be worn as a full set, meaning individual pieces may not be mixed with other gear.

As the Akuma α Armor Set is a Full Armor Set, you cannot equip individual armor pieces, and therefore must always be worn as a complete set. In total, this will give you 3 points in Partbreaker, 3 in Heroics, 2 in Evade Window, and a good amount of Jewel Slots for other skills.

Wearing the full armor set offers the following effects:

Significant boost in attack power.
Assisted Combos and other actions gain stun properties.
Drive Impact action gains an offset effect.

While you may still use the Akuma Assisted Combos using the Layered Armor, having the actual armor set equipped it the only way to boost the special moves' damage significantly.

Akuma's Assisted Combo attacks and related commands are affected by weapon skills and do not use up sharpness.

Weapon skills will directly affect mechanics of Akuma's combat style, specifically Focus (improves Drive Gauge recovery), Power Prolonger (extends post-Drive Impact offset buff), and Airborne (affects jumping attacks like Gou Shoryuken and Tatsumaki).

This build expects you to make full use out of Akuma's command moveset over weapons, so the weapons themselves will mostly serve as secondary options. You will want to have ones that have high Attack and are capable of offsets (like Great Swords or Switch Axes) or have some form of utility (Sword & Shield for guarding or Hunting Horn for melody buffs).

Weapon skills and stats will affect Akuma's Assisted Combos and commands such as Gou Hadouken. Monster weapons with the preferred weapon skills will mostly do, but if you want to maximize decoration flexibility, high Attack roll Artian weapons with their 3-3-3 slots are your best bet.

For the decoration slots, we aimed for a balance of offense and defense; Agitator 4 and Counterstrike 3 mainly serves as our core raw attack and affinity boosting skills, with Counterstrike benefitting from Drive Impact offsets.

For defense, we opted to include some comfort skills such as Divine Blessing 3, Earplugs 2, Adaptability 1, Shock Absorber 1, and Evade Extender 1. You can choose to sacrifice some of these to further boost your offensive capabilities, such as swapping Earplugs for more Heroics (Potential Jewel [2]).
