How to Get Broken Blade
Hunt Tempered Monsters
Players must obtain and appraise Weapon Shards or Fragments for a chance to obtain a Broken Blade part. These can be acquired as Bonus or Quest rewards for hunting down Tempered Monsters and completing the Investigation Quests tied to them.
The type of weapon shard or fragment awarded depends on the tier of the Tempered Monster and the rank of the Investigation Quest.
Meld Relics
Alternatively, players can use the Melding Pot at Suja, Peaks of Accord, and consume existing Artian weapon parts or Wyverian stones to make Weapon Fragments. The feature to use the Melding Pot to create Randomized Weapon Fragments unlocks during the Storm-Cold Vortex quest in Chapter 5.
Meld Relics for Old Weapon Shards - Blade
Once players reach HR 100, they also have the option of melding relics to acquire Old Weapon Shards - Blade. Appraising these guarantees rarity 8 Broken Blade parts.
