Hello! Thanks for your input! We do agree that Sword and Shield's Perfect Guard is a powerful defensive tool, so we have updated our tier list recently; however, hitting the whitened scars is something that all weapons can do and is not exclusive to the SnS. Hope this clears things up!
SnS is so overpowered since it got perfect block. It’s so easy to hit and basically stay right on the monster never not doing damage. I think the page should note that SnS can convert the whitened parts of a monster to a full blown wound while also doing damage. Then you can follow that up with a focus strike to pop the wound for even more damage.
Hello! We've recently updated our Weapons Tier List, and the Sword & Shield has been evaluated to be stronger than our prior rank for it. We've updated this page to reflect the tier list accordingly, with the SnS placing higher to reflect its current power in-game. Thank you for pointing this out!
This has a B while the dual blades have an A even though you said the db has 3/5 cons and this has 1. Not to mention how well used sns is in Wilds.
How do you justify the "Low Damage" marking of the SnS given that it is one of the top 3-4 performers in the Speedrunning community for Wilds right now?
