there's too many 3 slot decorations for the available slots in the MR 6+ non dereliction build, you need 4 slots for one hard element jewel and three spread jewels but you only have 3 slots available as one of the slots is also taken up by the mighty bow jewel
why would you put a build enabling jewel (kushala blessing) that is only obtainable for players WELL over MR10 in an MR10 build?? wtf is wrong with you guys
Compared to the bow builds guide written for Rise, this is much more difficult to navigate. Before you had builds separated by hunter rank, then you went through each hunter rank range with pierce, spread, rapid, elemental , alt elemental. Now it's written seemingly for spread and elemental only. Oh well
The starting MR 1 build probably shouldn't use the Anjanath Coil X, because it requires an Anjanath Mantle, and the amount of farming to get that piece, will mean by the time you get it, you're already MR 3+, as this piece isn't used in any other bow builds it seems a waste to invest the time in farming it.
Hi, Anon! Upon checking, the set should only have two free level 1 slots in any of the armor pieces. It's possible you may have used an extra slot from your talisman or from augmenting the head armor. It's also possible that you may have an additional point of Reload Speed or Fire Attack in your talisman or armor augments, which could free up another level 1 slot. Hope this helps!
I'm a little confused. For the meta DPS build, fire bow, I've slotted in all the required jewels, minus two extra fire jewels since the armor already came with two levels of fore attack. But I still have three extra level 1 slots free. Two in the leggings and one in the chestplate. Are these free slots? What am I missing?

Continued: rakna kadaki as best fire bow is silly because there's so few matchups that pierce is best for. In my opinion the best bows are... Rapid: fire - anjanath or silver rathalos Thunder - Tobi kadachi Water - mizutsune Ice - lunagaron Dragon - gore magala or ibushi Spread: fire - rathian Thunder - Khezu Water - daimyo Ice - barioth Dragon - valstrax Raw - chameleos Pierce: fire - rakna Thunder - zinogre Water - ludroth Ice - kushala Dragon - bhanabra Raw pyre
Not having stamina surge 3 on either of your builds is a crime against bow lol. Constitution 2 is fine if you eat for dango fighter level 4, and cons 3 is good for dango fighter 3 Aside from that the core damage skills for bow are still weaknesses exploit, critical boost and shot type up (with bow charge plus of course) And for listing best bows for each element you should list for each shot type, since they all play different, and listing the rakna kadaki as The best fire bow is silly
it's pretty easy to deal with using bloodlust and gourmet fish
In addition to the elementals, a Raw and/or Blast would be interesting to be able to use in hunts with multiple targets or Arena Very cool builds, I've completed them all and I think they're very strong, I just have to thank you for the help since I'm new to the franchise

What are Hard Elem Attack Jewels 3? I don't see them anywhere
I really hate dereliction and don't think the constant health drain is worth the extra dmg
weapons: hermitaur (water spread) rathian (fire spread) chameleos (raw spread) khezu or rajang (thunder spread) Malzeno gives blood rite 2 which heals the continuous health drain a bit more! If you need a heal otherwise overcome the blight or switch silk stance to heal up after a while.
MR 6+ bow: Head: Storge/ Arc Helm Body: Archfiend Armor Baulo Arms: Archfiend Armor Epine Waist: gore coil or Malzeno if you need healing or Archfiend (depends on talisman) Boots: Archfiend Armor Sceros So the goal is Resentment 5 1jewel Coalensence 3 talisman or jewel Weakness Exploit 3 1jewel or talisman Spread Up 3 (3 jewels) Dereliction 3 Bow Charge plus jewel Stamina surge 3 (1 2slot jewel 1 4 slot jewel) Constitution 4/5 (1 2 slot jewel 2 4 slot jewels) Bloodlust 1

The Grand Glowing Oath, among some other Master Rank bows, are able to use Level 4 charge shot by default and don't need the Bow Charge Plus skill from the feather.
