This is a farming guide for Gastronome Tuna, an item in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise). Check here for all Gastronome Tuna locations and drop sources, as well as Gastronome Tuna uses in equipment and decoration crafting.
|Description||A fish that eats anything—allowing you to sometimes get items from its stomach.|
The easiest spot to farm Gastronome Tuna is the Fishing Spot in Area 13 both in Low Rank and High Rank. This area is open and monsters may intrude you so dont forget to bring Dung Bombs!
|Where to Farm Gastronome Tuna|
|Gastronome Tunas are huge silver fish with orange fins and bulging foreheads. The water here is under a waterfall so the water texture is quite erratic hence, you might want to look closely if you're looking for a specific fish.
Gastronome Tuna are fairly common in this Fishing Spot so you can spot them easily. Repeatedly capture this fish in High Rank to spawn a Great Gastronome Tuna.

When you catch a Gastronome Tuna, it will drop materials unique to that locale! However, this method of farming materials is not reliable so don't focus your energy on Gastronome Tunas.

Give us the ability to change our layered armor display. What I mean is, ya know how armor looks different on the male and female models? well, I wish there was the ability to change the appearance from the male models of armor, to the female models, and the reverse without changing the gender of your character itself. This would be really nice, as imo some armor pieces look better as the male model version.
