Get Meaty Hide from Hot Topic Hooligans Hub Quest
To farm Meaty Hide, we recommend doing the ★1 Hub Quest, Hot Topic Hooligans. You need to hunt 20 Zamite or Bnahabra. This is perfect as their locations will be marked on the minimap, making it easier to track them down.

This route can go by much faster if you have Sub-camp 1 (Area 6) and Sub-camp 2 (Area 8), so try to get those as soon as you can!
If you have Sub-camp 2 in particular, once you finish off the Zamite in Area 4, you can fast travel to it then head straight to the ones in Area 8. Then Sub-camp 1 gets you near Area 11, so you can slide down and get all the Zamite in the lower level areas.
Zamites Can Be Carved Twice When Enlarged
When a Zamite leeches off of you and gets larger over time, it can be carved twice when you finally remove it with a kunai. This gives you more chances to get Meaty Hides! So while it might go against your instincts, it's okay to let it stay on you for a while!
