Simple Prism can be obtained from the Unique Gathering Point, Clear Crystal, in the Low Rank Flooded Forest. Try to equip Geologist Lv. 2 from the Leather Armor Set or the Guild Cross Armor Set and go on an Expedition Tour with an Upsurge of Local Items to get more items.
You can use your Palamute when you go on expeditions to farm certain items as you can use their Sniff 'em Out! ability to help you look for farming nodes!
| 1 |  Leave the Main Camp and head south for the first Clear Crystal. |

| 2 |  Climb up to Area 10 and look for the next Clear Crystal within an indentation on the rock. |
| 3 |  Travel to the cliffs between Areas 12 and 13 for the next gathering point. |
| 4 | Look toward the huge opening in Area 12 and go through it. From there, stay on the ledges and drop two levels down until you reach the next node. |
| 5 | Face the waterfall and use your Wirebugs to land on the platforms to reach the other cliff in Area 7. Climb up from there to find a Clear Crystal and a Relic Record and Shining Rhino nearby. |
| 6 |  Drop down and head to Area 6 for the next node. This should be fairly easy to spot. |
| 7 | Head back to Area 7 and then enter the underground cave. Go to the upper level of the cave and look for a small opening. Inside, you'll find another Clear Crystal. |
| 8 |  Exit the cave through the south and gather from the next Clear Crystal along the way. |
| 9 | Go to the southernmost part of the map and look for an opening in the pyramid. Climb up and enter it to find a passage that leads to a room with two Clear Crystals. |
| 10 |  The last gathering point should be in the same room as the previous one. |

Collecting 10 Simple Prisms will clear the quest, Breath of the Past.
This account item is not worth much in terms of Kamura points. It's only worth 18 Kamura points.
