Obtain Aeonian Coal at Lava Caverns

Aeonian Coal can only be obtained by gathering them at Scorched Ore gathering nodes in the Master Rank map of Lava Caverns.

Head to Area 5 to Quickly Find Scorched Ore

From the Base Camp, head eastward to Area 5. A Scorched Ore node can be found beside the stone arch.

Head right towards the cave leading underground. Another Scorched Ore can be found near the entrance!
