You will be able to farm for Iridescent Geode as soon as you get access to the Master Rank map of Citadel.
You can obtain this item from Crystal Chunk Gathering Nodes around the map. You can also use your Palamute when you go on expeditions to farm certain items as you can use their Sniff 'em Out! ability to help you look for farming nodes!
| 1 |  Head to Area 1 and climb up the nearby hill and ride the Great Wirebug. |

| 2 |  Once your Great Wirebug ride ends, use your Wirebug to fling yourself to the mountain south of Area 5. |
| 3 |  Go down the hole to find the first Crystal Chunk. |
| 4 |  Follow the path ahead until you reach the second Crystal Chunk. |
| 5 |  Walk to the left path until you reach a Bonepile. Look up and you should see an exit. Climb up the wall and head outside. |
| 6 |  Turn left and climb back up the summit where the hole is. Follow the stairs leading down the mountain and you should see another Crystal Chunk. |
| 7 |  Nearby is a cliff with a Great Wirebug at the end. Do not use the Great Wirebug but instead jump across the cliff where you can see Honey deposits. |
| 8 |  Climb up the cliff and scale the rock formation to find the next Crystal Chunk. |
| 9 |  Look for a stair-like rock formation with an Ore deposit at the top. Use your Wirebug to get to the second level from the top to find a gathering node. |
| 10 |  Look down to see a ledge below with a Crystal Chunk. Jump and use your Wirebug to reach this location. |
| 11 |  Head to the Sub-camp and follow the path leading outside. Once you see a Bonepile, head left and drop down the ledge to find a Crystal Chunk. |
| 12 |  Follow the path back to where you came from. Head towards the ledge near Area 4 and look for a Crystal Chunk below. Jump to the platform to reach it. |
| 13 |  Climb back up the vines. Follow the path ahead until you reach an Ore deposit. Turn around and climb the set of ledges until you reach the top. |
| 14 |  Head to Area 6 and climb up the ledge where a Great Wirebug is located and ride it. |
| 15 |  Walk up to the Ore deposit and jump off the platform. Use your Wirebugs to reach the ruins at the edge of the map and follow the path to reach the final Crystal Chunk. |
