Hey guys, have you tested the rampage gunlance? With rampage skills it gets normal 5 and either 20 attack over ortlinde or natural white sharp. Thoughts?
Hey Anon! The Normal/Rapid Up skill is only there because of the Kushala Glare helmet, but we use this helmet exclusively because of its Handicraft Lv. 2. The Normal/Rapid Up is just there coincidentally. :-)
Hey, I think normal/rapid skill only affect normal ammo, not normal shelling from gunlance. You may need to fix endgame build.
Hey Anon! Our thought process was like this: Bazelgeuse Mail gives Agitator, Guard Up, and 2 1-slots. Bazel Mail's Guard Up is nice, but you'll be blast dashing out of the way of most unblockable attacks anyway. Meanwhile, Almudron Mail has Razor Sharp Lv2, which makes Razor Sharp Lv3 easily attainable. This maintains Ortlinde's sharpness (it reaches white sharpness with Handicraft Lv3), which means more damage. Hope that helped clarify things. :-)
I'm not very knowledgeable on the game, but for the HR40+ build, why not use the bazelgeuse mail instead of the the almudron mail? You get more defense, decoration slots, and the 3 set piece bonus. And if resistances are the issue you could cover it with dango depending on the quest.
