You will be able to farm for Tropical Berry as soon as you get access to the Sandy Plains locale.
You can obtain this item from Mellow Red Berry gathering nodes around the map. Try to equip Geologist Lv. 2and look out for an Upsurge of Local Items to gather more account items.
You can use your Palamute when you go on expeditions to farm certain items as you can use their Sniff 'em Out! ability to help you look for farming nodes!
| 1 |  From the entrance, go through the small tunnel to the left. Drop down by the right side of the cliff and you should see the first node. |

| 2 |  Drop down to the rightmost part of the cliff you're currently on. To your right, you should see another cliff. Use your wirebugs to go up and reach the second node. |
| 3 |  Wirebug to the other cliff and climb up the vines. Walk until you reach the edge and see a pit with a Great Wirebug. Drop down to the very bottom to get to the third node. |
| 4 |  Take the Great Wirebug beside node three to go up the cliff & wirebug to go to the next cliff. Drop down to the rightmost edge. You should see 3 small caves on the tall cliff, wirebug to the one on the right to reach the fourth node. |
| 5 |  From the fourth node, drop down and go left. Go right, in between two cliffs and you should see the fifth node. |
| 6 |  Go straight ahead until you see a lake area. To the left of the lake, climb up the short walled cliff to reach the sixth node. |
| 7 |  Wirebug to the cliff behind node six. Climb up and drop down the ledge and you will see node seven in the middle of the platform. |
| 8 |  Fast travel to Sub-Camp 1, and go to the leftmost cliff beside the camp. Climb to the top and you should see the eighth node. |
| 9 |  Drop down into the giant pit near Area 7. Go up to the left ledge near the winding downwards path between Area 11 and 12 and you should see the ninth node. |
| 10 |  Go up the ledge at the bottom right part of Area 12. Walk through the small passageway and go up the big rock at the end to reach node 10. |
