Boatshell Location
During upsurges of Local Items, you can get up to four Boatshells from a single Oyster Bed instead of just one! Upsurges easily save you a lot of time.
You can also use your Palamute when you go on expeditions to farm certain items as you can use their Sniff 'em Out! ability to help you look for farming nodes!
Having Lv. 2 for the Geologist skill means you can gather once more from a single gathering point, increasing the chances of getting the item you want! Having a dedicated gathering armor set like the Leather Armor set or Guild Cross Armor set is plenty helpful for when you need to go on Zenny and Kamura Point farming runs.

Having an additional Submarine will allow the player to continually gain more free items via the Argosy. Unlocking this will allow the player to continually farm free items, so be sure to get it as soon as possible.
