Hey, how about mr3-5 sets? ... prior mr5 as bez aint avail, not earlier then seen.
i dont know but i using the Howlitzer+ cause i love Long Shelling and I using Full Set Basarios for the Moment and the build is Amazing: -Defense Boost 7 -Guard 5 -Latent Power 4 (in the set included and also Good for Poking attacks) -Artillery -Load Shells 2 -Reload Speed 3 -Evade Extender 3 -Stun Resistance 3 -Speed Sharpening 3 -Flinch Free 3 -Item Prolonger 1
Hey, why aren't you using the Rampage gunlance with max normal shelling instead of Ortlinde? The raw damage is higher, you're able to achieve white sharpness with ease, and the only thing missing is poison that isn't super great on gunlance anyway. Not to mention the option to have that MASSIVE bar of blue sharpness if you so choose.
Correction, Defense Boost is maxed even without the additional slots on the Talisman. I forgot about the Lv. 2 Defense Boost on the Basarios Helm. But you can also use a Talisman with 2 Level 2 slots on it and it would work just as well. Having a good talisman with two Level 2 Slots on it can let you slot in even more skills
With a Talisman that has 1 Point in Artillery or Guard (lets you change out the decorations a bit) you have Artillery, Guard, Guard Up, Load Shells, and Partbreaker maxed, with 5 points in Defense Boost, too. Extra slots on your Talisman can even get you maxed Defense Boost to go with it. Basically makes you an impenetrable iron wall that blasts people with explosions
One fun build that I've used is a "Full Defense" build that's meant to be as tanky as possible while still dealing damage. I run: Weapon: Howlitzer - Defense Boost III (or Wyrmstake Boost from Canyne Cannon II) - Defense Jewel 1 Head: Basarios Helm S - Guard Jewel 2, Defense Jewel 1 Chest: Bazelgeuse Mail - Defense Jewel 1, Defense Jewel 1 Arms: Bazelgeuse Braces - Guard Jewel 2, Guard Jewel 2 Waist: Jelly Coil S - Destroyer Jewel 2, Defense Jewel 1 Legs: Bazelgeuse Greaves - Guard Jewel 2
Hum i really don't think normal/rapid up works on gunlance.. So the build for normal shelling build should be updated ^^
The shelling eats your sharpnes like crazy, razor sharp counter act this Either you can go for a green or yellow sharpness weapon with blugeoner And btw the gloves form rhenoplos gives artilery level 2
Emm, why you need razor sharp on pure shelling? Shelling does not care about sharpness
Id honestly swap the Rathalos waist with Anja waist, you lose the windproof (which honestly who cares) and gain a 2 slot
