''The Visionary''

Vedrfolnir is known as ''The Visionary.'' According to Mona, during the Hunters, Prophets quest, a Visionary is an extremely powerful oracle who can read the prophecies of the world.

He was first mentioned by Skirk during The Opera of Noirceur and Blancheur quest in relation to the prophecy in Fontaine.

Dainsleif also revealed in the Cold Case Commission quest that Vedrfolnir was his older brother, and someone who once carried great esteem in Khaenri'ah.

Genshin - Vedrfolnir the Sinner
Vedrfolnir, along with the four other Sinners, were once the hope of Khaenri'ah in stopping the Vinster King. However, the five Sinners fell to the call of the Abyss and became transcendent beings with world-shattering powers.

In the end, the Five Sinners did nothing to stop the cataclysm that befell Khaenri'ah, and Dainsleif vowed to get revenge for their betrayal.

Inspired Clothar to Create the Abyss Order

Genshin - Clothar in the Caribert Quest

In the Caribert Archon Quest, it was revealed that a 'Sinner' inspired Clothar Alberich to found the Abyss Order, ultimately sacrificing his son Caribert to create the Loom of Fate.

It was later confirmed in the Chapter 4 Act 6 Archon Quest that this Sinner is Vedrfolnir.
