Xbalanque Story and Lore
First Pyro Archon of Natlan
Xabalanque is the first Pyro Archon of Natlan, known as The First Sun, and the first God of War. He was the first leader of the Natlanese and lived even way before Ochkanatlan was built, which is the oldest structure in Natlan today.

Slain Xiuhcoatl the Pyro Sovereign
Before Xbalanque became the Pyro Archon, Xiuhcoatl the Pyro Sovereign was the one who ruled over Natlan. The dragon eventually was corrupted by the Abyss and began imprisoning the Natlanese and laid waste on the Ley Lines.
Xbalanque then stood up for the Natlanese and defeated Xiuhcoatl with the help of other legendary Natlan heroes. Xbalanque split the dragon's eye into two, creating two Golden Entreaties, which maintained peace between dragons and humans for hundreds of years.

Made a Deal With the Ruler of Death
When Xbalanque became the first Pyro Archon, he made a deal with Ronova, the Ruler of Death, to lend him immense amount of power in exchange for his life. The power borrowed from Ronova was used to prevent the corruption of the eroded Ley Lines caused by the Abyss.
The deal made with the Ruler of Death also set the whole system for Natlan, creating rules, helping the people thrive, and give the chance to mortals to become the next Pyro Archon.
The Deal Concludes With Capitano's Sacrifice
During Mavuika's cutscene in the When all Becomes a Monument Quest, the deal made by Xbalanque with Ronova concludes with Capitano's sacrifice.
The Captain took Xbalanque's throne in Ochkanatlan and offered his life for the souls of his lost companions and the future of Natlan.

Entombed With the Primal Fire
Xbalanque died when he made a deal with the Ruler of Death, Ronova, and was entombed with the Primal Fire. After he died, Och-Kan took over as the leader of the Natlanese but was later overthrown by the Scarlet-Eyed Youth.
The Natlanese left Ochkanatlan and the Scarlet-Eyed Youth became the successor of Xbalanque, becoming the second Pyro Archon.

Ochkanatlan Fell After His Death
With Xbalanque's death, Och-Kan, a famous historical Natlan figure, was the one who took over as king of the land of Pyro. He also helped Xbalanque defeat Xiuhcoatl, along with other legendary Natlan heroes.
Alas, he betrayed the rules Xbalanque left him, which lead to the corruption and fall of Ochkanatlan.
Revived in Mavuika's Story Quest
Xbalanque comes back to life in Mavuika's Story Quest Sol Invictus Act 1 for one whole day. Xbalanque takes form of a small child named Mausau and enters the tournament of Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame.
Mavuika showed Xbalanque around Natlan, visiting the places he once envisioned for the future of the land of Pyro. He even dueled with Mavuika, to test how a true warrior she was.
Afterwards, Xbalanque congratulates Mavuika for keeping Natlan safe all this time, then calmly leaves, returning to the Night Kingdom, as he was only available to come back to Natlan in one day.

Anonymous 9 monthsThe strongest, the chad, but sometimes unlucky LMAO (why he lost to Mavu is because he got his unlucky moment this time, the stopwatch-fire-like just shutting down when he's off guard, but why everybody in forum don't understand this situation and only blame Mavu omfg). .
