This is a story walkthrough guide for Chapter 1: Act 2 in Genshin Impact. Here you can learn what you need to do to progress and what you should be doing during Act 2.

| 1 | Wait till the next day for the quest to continue, then head to Liyue Harbor and talk to the bank staff there. |

| 2 | Find Childe in Liyue and meet with Zhongli. |
| 3 | Meet with Zhongli outside, he will give you a bag of Mora to use. |
| 1 | Go to the southern part of Liyue Harbor and buy Noctilus Jade from the merchant there. |

| 2 | After receiving the samples of Noctilus Jade, head to Dadaupa Gorge to find the giant pot. |
| 3 | Defeat the Hilichurls surrounding the pot and walk over to it to use it. |
| 4 | Use Pyro attacks to heat up the pot. While you are heating the pot, more Hilichurls will appear. Defeat them then go back to heating the pot until the bar is full. |
| 5 | Return to Liyue Harbor and speak to the merchant Shitou again. |
| 6 | Head to Yujing Terrace and place the Noctilus Jade in the marked spot. |
| 1 | Head to the port to find the flower merchant and speak to him to buy the Silk Flowers. |

| 2 | Speak with Lan at the Adventurer's Guild desk. |
| 3 | Speak to Qiming. |
| 4 | Speak to Ying'er to find out how to make the perfume. |
| 5 | Meet with Ying'er at the nearby restaurant. |
| 6 | Draw some water found in a bucket behind the restaurant and bring it back to Ying'er. |
| 7 | Use the Crafring Bench to grind the flowers and obtain their oils. Obtain Fate's Yearning, Valley Weaver, and Golden House Maiden Essential Oils. |
| 8 | Bring the Essential Oils you crafted back to Ying'er in the restaurant. |
| 9 | After obtaining the perfumes, head to the Statue of the Seven and speak to Zhongli there. |
| 1 | Meet with Madame Ping back at Liyue Harbor |

| 2 | Touch her teapot and find the Cleasing Bell inside. |
| 3 | Bring the perfume and Cleansing Bell to Zhongling in Yujing Terrrace. |
| 1 | Purchase a kite from Granny Shan. |

| 2 | Find and speak to 3 workers who can get you materials for a price. You can choose to negotiate prices and keep the extra Mora, just make sure you do not bring the price down too low. |
| 3 | Speak to Childe. |
When talking to the workers for the job you can negotiate their high prices and lower them. The lowerst you can reduce the price is around half or less. Try not go too low as it will decrease their mood. You can redeem the bag of Mora for Mora at the bank.
| 1 | Travel to Bubu Pharmacy. Check behind the counter to find Qiqi. |

| 2 | Find the Guizhong Ballista in the marked area along Mt. Tianheng. |
| 3 | Enter the military supply room nearby and get the parts to repair the ballista inside. Bring it back to the ballista to repair it. |
| 4 | Defeat the attacking Treasure Hoarders. You will have to beat 3 waves of them. |
| 5 | Head back to the pharmacy and talk to Qiqi again. |
| 6 | Go back to Yujing Terrace and speak to Zhongli to place the Everlasting Incense . |
The supply room where the parts you will need to fix the baillista is located is locked. The only way in is through the window you can find at the top. From the platform of the ballista, you can glide into the left window of the supply room to get inside.
| 1 | Wait until 18:00-23:00 and meet with Zhongli at the restaurant. |

Act 3 has not been announced at the time of writing this, but just like the rest of the Archon Quests, it will be very likely you will need a certain AR to be able to start the quest. Try and increase your AR as much as you can before Mihoyo releases the next Act!
