What is A Melusine?

Melusine refers to a group or race living as part of the citizenry of Fontaine, with various jobs and personalities. You can find them walking around the cities on the surface, as well as in their home town Merusea Village.

Neuvillette was the one who brought the Melusines to live amongst humans in the Court of Fontaine.

Considers Neuvillette the 'ideal of the perfect father'

In Neuvillette's official teaser post on Genshin Impact's various social media, a newspaper called the ''Seven Nations Gazette'' interviewed a Melusine about the Chief Justice. Said Melusine described Neuvillette as their kind's 'ideal of the perfect father.'

Despite the quote supposedly being from a Melusine, the post admitted that Neuvillette had existed long before the Melusine did, and the Seven Nations Gazette is known as a 'notorious tabloid.'
