Complete the Apocalypse Quest
To unlock The Opera of Noirceur and Blancheur, you must have completed the previous subquest of Masquerade of the Guilty, Apocalypse!

The Opera of Noirceur and Blancheur Walkthrough
Enter Furina's consciousness
Enter Furina's consciousness, and head to the stage and talk to her. Turn off all three spotlights and defeat any enemies that may appear to stop you from doing so.
Watch Furina's performance
Help Furina conduct her accession speech by choosing options that will rile up the crowd. Continue going through the acts of Furina's consciousness, until you reach the last memory, involving the Traveler.
Finish speaking with Focalors' consciousness
The scene moves once again back to Neuvillette's conversation with Focalors. Once their conversation draws near its end, watch Furina's and Focalors' final performance.
Enter the Primordial Sea with Neuvillette
After Neuvillette exacts his final verdict to the citizens of Fontaine, enter the Primordial Sea with Neuvillette.
Defeat the All-Devouring Narwhal
Inside the Primordial Sea, defeat the All-Devouring Narwhal
. Keep in mind that you don't have to completely deplete the whale of its HP to defeat it, as the story will progress on its own, after bringing its health down to a certain level!
Meet Skirk
In a few while, Neuvillette deals the finishing blow to the All-Devouring Narwhal. Once it's completely eradicated, you will meet Skirk, the master to Tartaglia, and the pupil to Surtalogi, or commonly-known as Rhinedottir. Talk to Skirk afterwards.
Fontaine's End
Unfortunately for Fontaine, despite defeating the Narwhal, Fontaine's End is still in order. After watching the cutscene depicting the entire prophecy, return to Fontaine.
