Candace as a support is her best build, as she goes all-in on improving her role as a buffer by increasing her HP% and providing Elemental DMG bonus to your party's normal attacks.

You will want around ±180% Energy Recharge to make Candace's buffs more frequent. Make sure to use a CRIT Rate circlet if you're using a Favonius Lance!

The best artifact set for Candace is simply a question of if you already have a Noblesse buffer or not. If you want more DPS, go for the Emblem Set. If you have a low investment Candace or if you don't have a Noblesse buffer yet, go Noblesse.

By unlocking Candace's 6th Constellation she will provide more off-field DPS and Hydro Aura on enemies! Though this Constellation adds a lot of damage, it is not a must have for Candace to be a viable Sub-DPS nor Support.

Candace Talents and How to Use

Normal Attack

Normal Attack: Gleaming Spear - Guardian Stance
Performs up to 4 consecutive spear strikes. Charge Attack Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to lunge forward, dealing damage to opponents along the way. Plunge Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Block Incoming Damage

Candace's Elemental Skill, Sacred Rite: Heroes Sanctum, allows her to block incoming damage with her shield while charging. Once charged up, she will strike with her Polearm and deal Hydro DMG.

Elemental Skill Parry

After unlocking the Aegis of Crossed Arrows talent, the shield will instantly be fully charged when an enemy attacks her while holding the stance. This is similar to how Beidou and Yun Jin's Elemental Skills work but is much easier to pull off since there's no strict timing.

AoE Hydro Burst

Candace's Elemental Burst, Sacred Rite: Wagtail's Tide, deals AoE Hydro DMG to enemies and provides the Prayer of the Crimson Crown buff to the entire party.

Provides AoE Damage and Hydro Infusion

When swapping to different characters under the Pyarer of the Crimson Crown effect, an AoE around the player will trigger, dealing Hydro damage.

In addition, Sword, Claymore, and Polearm characters buffed by the Prayer of the Crimson Crown will have their weapons infused with the Hydro Element. All characters will also increase their Elemental DMG from their Normal Attack.

Candace Exploration Passive Skill

Candace's talent for exploration, To Dawn's First Light, decreases the stamina consumption when climbing walls.

Candace is the guardian of Aaru Village, a title that was passed down to her at the age of 8. Guardians take on their duties in silence, defending the village dubbed as the final refuge for King Deshret's descendants.

I dunno how many times she's turned me down now. Ugh, if I really can't persuade her, I guess I'll just have to watch the village for her sometime, and get one of my Eremite girls to take her shopping...
Layla	...Huh, I saw someone who matches that description when I woke up after sleepwalking for the first time. "Candace," huh? Now I know. I still remember the moment I woke up... All of my reports and essays were done. At the time, it felt like... like after pleading to the stars for days and days, now they'd finally heard me, and sent a messenger to help me...
