Southeast of Chizhang Wall

The Solitary Suanni is located southeast of Chizhang Wall, below a foggy chasm, just past the Time Trial challenge you can easily spot along the way. Fortunately, you can immediately fight the boss to get its loot, and ascend Xianyun!

How to Get to Solitary Suanni

Use the South Teleport Waypoint

To get to the Solitary Suanni boss, use the Teleport Waypoint, just south of the boss arena. Use the Golden Carp's Leap available to reach and plunge down the arena!

How to Beat the Solitary Suanni

Freeze the Beast Using Cryo Attacks

During the fight, the Solitary Suanni will enter a stage in which it will begin to accumulate Hydro-Aligned Adeptal Energy. During this process, the Solitary Suanni will infuse with Hydro element; take advantage of this opportunity to freeze the boss with Cryo attacks.

After the boss has frozen, use shatter, melt, or other Elemental reactions to break the ice, causing the boss to become immobilized for a short period of time, allowing you to unleash your assaults.

Prevent the Beast from Gathering Anemo-Aligned Energy

The Solitary Suanni may also enter a stage in which it collects Anemo-Aligned Adeptal Energy. During this stage, an Anemo orb will orbit the monster, attacking it with an Elemental attack that will react with Anemo to destroy them.

Successfully destroying all Anemo orbs will cause the Solitary Suanni to become immobile for a while.

The boss starts with a large Anemo burst followed by a stomp dealing AoE Hydro damage.

The Suanni leaps in the air and throws Hydro Slashes towards the player.

The beast slams its tail onto the ground as a pillar of water emerges.
