How to Unlock Emilie Story Quest

Complete the Prerequisites

	Chapter 4: Act 5 Masquerade of the Guilty

You can unlock Emilie's Story Quest by completing Chapter 4, Act 4 Archon Quest, Masquerade of the Guilty, and using one Story Key. You must have also reached Adventure Rank 40+ to play her Story Quest!

Story Key Required

A Story Key is usually needed to unlock a Story Quest. Like most characters, Emilie will need Story Keys to unlock her quest.

To get 1 Story Key, you need to do 8 Daily Commissions and be at Adventure Rank 26. Since there are only 4 Commissions in a day, you will need a minimum of 2 days to get 1 Story Key.

Emilie's Story Quest Act 1 Walkthrough

Top Note: Floral Debt

	Objectives
1	Go to Port Ormos, near the southeast end of the port, where you can approach and talk to Tighnari and the NPC Shyam.
2	After the conversation with Tighnari, go to the nearby stalls, where another cutscene will start.
3	Go to the hotel at one end of the large bridge in Port Ormos, where you will talk to Edgar.
4	Enter the hotel building right across from Edgar's room to continue your conversation with Emilie.
5	Leave the hotel to check on Edgar, which will trigger another cutscene.
6	Investigate the scene by talking to Eude and Blaise.
7	Continue your investigation and check the bottle beside Edgar's body.
8	You should also check the Flower Beds by the large trees near the flower pots and Edgar's body.
9	After the conversation with Emilie and the others, head back to the ships south of Port Ormos and talk to Tighnari.

Middle Note: Blood Due

	Objectives
1	Following the events from Edgar's attack, wait until the next day (07:00 - 11:00), and head to the vicinity of the hotel.
2	After hearing the commotion inside Sylvain and Lucien's rooms, enter the hotel. There are two prompts that appear as you approach the hotel door, choose to enter Lucien's room.
3	Once Sylvain has been escorted out of the room by Collei, investigate the scene. There are 5 artifacts within the crime scene you need to investigate, so simply interact with all of them then talk to Emilie afterwards.
4	After investigating Lucien's room, enter Sylvain's room to get more information about his brother's murder. As the distraught man recounts the events from the previous night, Edgar suddenly enters the room, and tells the whole affair about Auguste, and Vijaya's real name and origin.
5	Afterwards, spread the information about Edgar and Sylvain's detainment to bait the killer, Kirya, then return to the area near the inn where you'll see Collei and Emilie talking to one another.
6	Then, enter Lucien's room and wait for Kirya to take the bait.
7	After hurriedly leaving the room, watch the conversation between Edgar and Emilie. Then, talk to Collei and point out where Auguste is. Simply walk towards the flowers, and continue with the conversation.
8	Next, Emilie will ask you a series of questions about the methods of the murderer. Refer to the choices and interpretations below to proceed! In order to setup the mechanism, he took Auguste and... - Select soaked the area around the petals, then Interpret. Next, is to select sealed it inside the petals, then Submit Conclusion. After listening to Shyam and Emilie, the brainstorming prompt for He executed the poisoning using.. will appear. Select the incense in the room, and interpret. Then, select Spirit Borneol, and submit your conclusion. Lastly, to know the real murder is... screen will appear. Select Edgar first, and interpret, then select Kirya, then hit Trigger Association, followed by Interpret.
9	After discerning the real identity of the murderer, Innam abruptly announces that Edgar was just attacked.

Base Note: Auguste

	Objectives
1	Head out of the hotel and pursue Kirya. Question the witness along the way, as you head to the northern part of Port Ormos.
2	Then, follow Emilie, and scale the cliff sides until you see the location of the Secret Garden slotted within a small crevice on the mountain wall. There are bouncy mushrooms along the way you can use to easily propel your character upwards, so make sure to use them!
3	Enter the Secret Garden with the group to continue pursuing Kirya. There are some Shroom-kin enemies inside this story quest domain, so make sure to bring an optimal team with you to progress with ease.
4	As soon as you head inside, talk to Oguz, who badly wants to accompany the group to follow Kirya. After Emilie has convinced him and the others to stay, go further in.
5	Then, keep walking forward, and jump down towards the Shroom-kin enemies. After defeating them, investigate the huge flower nearby, which should spits out a floating seed.
6	Just like with Seelies, simply guide the seed toward the Dendro ring a couple of steps away from the flower to reveal a bridge that leads further in.
7	Afterwards, keep walking forward until you see a bunch of Four-Leaf Sigils ahead. Use the one on your left, then wait for the brief cutscene to end.
8	Then, continue forward using the Sigils, then jump down the wooden ledge towards another mob of Shoom enemies.
9	As with the first Shroom enemies, defeating them unlocks the nearby big flower. Interact with it to get the seed, then guide it towards the nearby Dendro marker.
10	Tread along the bridge, which should directly connect to the cavern where Kirya is. After watching the cutscene between him and Yelena, as well as the conversation between him and Emilie, get out of the Secret Garden.
11	Afterwards, you will automatically get teleported to Hotel Debord in Fontaine where Emilie gives you a copy of her new perfume, Yelena.
