Where to Find Global Illumination

Find Under Graphics Settings

Genshin Impact - Global Illumination - Where to Find
The Global Illumination setting can be found under the Graphics settings in between Shadow Quality and Visual Effects. From here, you can activate or deactivate Global Illumination.

Take note that this option is only available for PC and Mobile. For PlayStation users, Global Illumination is activated by default.

What is Global Illumination

Global Illumination is a graphics setting that affects the lighting in-game to appear smoother and more realistic, with higher contrast between light and shadow, and defined light streaks whenever light passes through mists and smoke.

Shadows are feathered better, and in-game textures look more three-dimensional.

i have the midrange one and i could use it and my specs is i5-9400f with GTX 1060 6GB ZOTAC Mini with 16Gb DDR4 RAM and i guess my CPU usage takes a lot of stress when using genshin and i could barely multitask between Honkai Star Rail and Genshin so i set both in medium to be playable simultaneously

AMD 3700X processor AMD RX 580 8 GB Global Illumination not showing/available. Have heard rumors modded gpu drivers will make the option appear.
