Process ingredients through the cooking menu to get different ingredients in Genshin Impact. Learn how to process ingredients, what ingredients you can process, and how to process 3 ingredients in this guide!

There is an Experience Mission in the Adventurer Handbook that requires you to Process three ingredients to claim 100 Adventurer's EXP and 5 Raw Meat. You can complete this mission by processing any three ingredients!
Travelers will be able to speed up the time it takes to Process Ingredients using the Ultra-Hot Burner Lamp Test Model in Version 3.0! This will require the use of Ores to reduce the time of processing ingredients.
You can cook a lot of dishes without needing any special ingredients at all, but some dishes require processed ingredients to make. Learning how to process ingredients means making much more mouth-watering food!

How to Process Ingredients | |
---|---|
1 | ![]() First, you have to find a stove or a cooking fire. Be sure to light it up with Pyro when there's no fire under it. |
2 | ![]() Head over to the Process menu, which is the vegetable icon either on top or the right side of the screen. |
3 | ![]() Select an ingredient you want to process. You can process multiple ingredients at the same time. You can also select the amount of that ingredient that you want to process! |
4 | ![]() Processing Ingredients takes time in real life. Wait until the processing is finished. |
5 | ![]() After waiting for the time to finish, claim the ingredient. You can tell an ingredient is done processing when it's marked by a green arrow. ''Ingredients Processed'' will also show up on the upper left side of your screen when opening the map! |

Since the introduction of Dragonspine in Version 1.2, Travelers can defeat boars that are native to the area and get Chilled Meat, which they can process to get Raw Meat!
The Fishing System introduced in Version 2.1 lets Travelers capture various types of fish. These fish can either be put in the Serenitea Pot as pets, exchanged for items in the Fishing Association, or used to process and make Fish ingredients!
As of Version 3.4, players can process Mysterious Meat, and get either a Fowl, Fish, or Raw Meat at random for every Mysterious Meat processed.
You can get Mysterious Meat by defeating Flying Serpents in Sumeru's Desert of Hadramaveth area.
