• Premier defensive support for teams focusing on Melt and Frozen as she gives Pyro and Hydro RES Shred, Cryo application, and shields. • Off-field Cryo application have frequent procs and follows your active character, which makes it reliable for melee characters like Arlecchino. • Maximum duration of her Shield from her Elemental Skill can be refreshed before its duration is over. • Elemental Burst has huge DMG scalings and can be used as a nuke with Melt especially with her Elemental Mastery scaling. • Exploration utility is best for exploring the Masters of the Night-Wind areas similar to Ororon.
Weaknesses
• Cannot shred the RES of any other element other than Pyro and Hydro, which limits her universality and possible team comp options. • Off-field Cryo application can only start to take effect if Citlali has more than 50 Nightsoul Points, which means just using her Elemental Skill won't be enough to activate her application yet. This makes her reliant on using her Elemental Burst every rotation, and from satisfying the conditions of her passive. • Shield is relatively weaker scaling-wise versus other shield options like Zhongli or Layla.

Energy Recharge is also very important as Citlali needs to use her Elemental Burst every rotation to replenish Nightsoul points, as her off-field Cryo application will only activate once her Nightsoul Points reaches 50.

Citlali can fully utilize Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City to great effect by buffing her team and granting them an Elemental DMG Bonus, and we recommend going for this artifact set above all else.

While farming for this set, you can opt to use two Elemental Mastery set mixes, or a 4-piece Tenacity of the Millelith specifically for strengthening her shield and giving ATK buffs to all party members (she wouldn't benefit from the HP 2-piece effect, however).

You may also use the 4-piece Gilded Dreams as the third option as it gives more than 200 Elemental Mastery when Citlali is in a rainbow team comp.

Citlali's best teams revolves around enabling Melt or Freeze for Pyro or Hydro Main DPS characters as her passive allows her to reduce both aforementined Elemental RES.

Notably, Citlali's base kit does not shred Cryo, so Cryo on-fielders won't benefit much from Citlali (outside of her ability to hold the Scroll artifact set) than someone like Zhongli. You can still slot them in specialized teams like Burn-Melt.

During this time, she will obtain 10 stacks of Stellar Blade. When a nearby active character other than Citlali deals DMG using Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks, or Elemental Skills and Bursts, 1 stack of Stellar Blade will be consumed to increase the DMG dealt by 200% of Citlali's Elemental Mastery. After nearby party members trigger Frozen or Melt, Citlali will gain another 3 stacks of Stellar Blade. This effect can trigger once every 8s. Using the Elemental Skill Dawnfrost Darkstar will reset Stellar Blade stacks. Additionally, when Citlali is using her leap, or is Aiming or using her Charged Attack in mid-air, her Phlogiston consumption is decreased by 45%.

C6	Teoiztac's Secret Pact After being summoned with the Elemental Skill Dawnfrost Darkstar, Itzpapa will always be in the Opal Fire state, and when Nightsoul points are exhausted, this state will not end. Additionally, when Dawnfrost Darkstar is used, Itzpapa will consume all Nightsoul points, and while it is on the field, it will continuously consume Nightsoul points. Each Nightsoul point consumed in this way will grant Citlali 1 "Cifra of the Secret Law" point. A maximum of 40 such points can be gained, and each point Citlali possesses will grant all nearby party members a 1.5% Pyro and Hydro DMG Bonus, and increase the DMG Citlali deals by 2.5%. When Itzpapa leaves the field, or upon using Citlali's Elemental Skill again, all "Cifra of the Secret Law" points she has will be removed.

Normal Attack

Normal Attack: Shadow-Stealing Spirit Vessel

Calls upon secret arts passed down through the Masters of the Night-Wind from generation to generation, performing up to three strikes that deal Cryo DMG. Charge Attack Enters Aiming Mode, and after Holding, consumes a certain amount of Stamina to call forth a Frost Star that deals Cryo DMG to opponents in its path. Plunge Attack: Gathers the power of Cryo and plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals Aoe Cryo DMG upon impact with the ground.

Elemental Skill

Dawnfrost Darkstar

Citlali deploys an Opal Shield and calls forth Itzpapa, dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG. The Opal Shield's DMG absorption scales based on Citlali's Elemental Mastery, and absorbs Cryo DMG with 250% efficiency. When it is deployed, it will cause Citlali to briefly be affected by Cryo. After using this skill, Citlali gains 24 Nightsoul points and enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state. Itzpapa Itzpapa follows the character. If Citlali has at least 50 Nightsoul points, Itzpapa enters the Opal Fire state and continuously consumes Nightsoul points to whip up a Frostfall Storm that attacks opponents within its AoE, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Cryo DMG. When Citlali's Nightsoul points are depleted, the Opal Fire state ends.

Elemental Skill Creates a Shield and Off-Field Cryo Application

Citlali's Elemental Skill places her into Nightsoul's Blessing and generates a Cryo Shield that protects characters on the field from damage, greatly effective against enemy Cryo DMG. This skill also summons Itzpapa.

If Citlali has at least 50 Nightsoul points, which is replenished by activating her Skill or Burst, her Pyro or Cryo RES down passive, or allies triggering Nightsoul Burst, Itzpapa unleashes a wide off-field Cryo application that also follows the active character.

Elemental Burst

Edict of Entwined Splendor

Summons "allies" from the starry skies and the vast earth, hurling forth an ice storm to bombard the area in front and deal Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG. This restores a set amount of Nightsoul points for Citlali, and also summons a Spiritvessel Skull near a maximum of 3 opponents within the AoE, with 1 Skull for each opponent. Spiritvessel Skulls explode after some time, dealing Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG and restoring a set amount of Nightsoul points for Citlali.

Elemental Burst Deals AoE Cryo DMG and Replenishes Nightsoul Points

Citlali's Elemental Burst is a simple burst damage that also tags max 3 enemies with Cryo bombs, which detonates shortly after. This is another form of off-field Cryo application which should always be used with her Elemental Skill as it also restores a set amount of Nightsoul points.

Mamaloaca's Frigid Rain
While Itzpapa is on the field, after nearby party members trigger the Frozen or Melt reactions, the Pyro and Hydro RES of opponents affected by that reaction decreases by 20% for 12s. Additionally, Citlali will regain 16 Nightsoul points. Nightsoul points can be restored this way once every 8s.

Passive Lowers Enemy Hydro and Pyro RES from Melt or Freeze

While her Elemental Skill is active, everytime your party members trigger Frozen or Melt, she lowers the Hydro and Pyro RES of nearby opponents.

This allows a Hydro or a Pyro DPS to deal more damage in Freeze and Melt teams, further leaning Citlali into her supportive role by giving her not only a shield, but also a RES shred.

Note that this also gives Nightsoul points to Citlali, which means she is reliant on units that can trigger Frozen or Melt to take full advantage of her kit.

During the Elemental Skill, Itzpapa's Frostfall Storm DMG is increased by 90% of Citlali's Elemental Mastery. During the Elemental Burst Edict of Entwined Splendor, Ice Storm DMG is increased by 1200% of Citlali's Elemental Mastery. In addition, when nearby party members trigger Nightsoul Bursts, Citlali regains 4 Nightsoul points.

While in an area with Phlogiston Mechanics within Natlan, can use Nightsoul Transmission: Citlali. When the active character is currently high enough in the air, the following will trigger when switching to Citlali: Citlali will leap up high to float in the air. Nightsoul Transmission can be triggered once every 10s by your party. Charge Attack Holding Aiming Mode will cause Citlali to enter the "Spiritspeaker" state, which will allow her to interact with "Nightspirit Graffiti" and "Nightspirit Sigils," extracting information and power from them. The rules for interacting with these objects follow the same rules as those governing Iktomisaurus interactions. Additionally, holding the jump button will cause Citlali to consume 75 Stamina and leap. In areas within Natlan where Phlogiston mechanics are present, Citlali will prioritize consuming 5 Phlogiston to leap to a height higher still.

Masters of the Night-Wind Passive

As a member of the Masters of the Night-Wind, Citlali can jump and glide like Ororon, as well as enter the Spiritspeaker state to interact with Nightspirit Graffiti as a clan-exclusive strength.

A Genius Priestess

Aside from being an elder of her Tribe, Citlali is a well-renonwed priestess who can do divinations, fortune-telling, and a lot more. Her craft of divination, however, seems to be different from Mona and her master's Hydromancy.

This talent and brilliance, however, is a double-edged sword for Citlali, as people are terrified of her stroke of genius, rendering her feeling lonely for the longest time.

Chasca	My dad told me that when I was little, they gathered all of the most learned elders in Natlan and asked them to come up with a plan for managing my Abyss condition. They all disagreed on the best approach, and it turned into a drawn-out debate. At some point, Citlali quietly left the room, but they were all too busy arguing to notice. When she got back, she put some food and wine down in front of her, ignored everyone, and just started eating... the table suddenly went very quiet. Just by looking at her, you'd never know how much seniority and experience she has.
Kachina	Mualani told me that you were only able to save me thanks to her invention, so I have to accept my share of the responsibility for the destruction of the Spiritspeaker Stone. I worked up the courage to apologize to her in person, and asked her to pick a few rocks from my collection as repayment. She scratched her head and said, "Well, it'll become an issue if I don't pick one, won't it? Then... We'll be even as long as I pick something reasonably similar, right?" In the end, she waved me off after taking the most unremarkable piece of obsidian I had. What do you think? Should I try to get her something else? Do you know the kind of thing she likes?
Kinich	As you can probably guess, I've taken jobs from her before. I helped her purchase a heavy stack of paper-based reading material from an Inazuman merchant. Not to pry into my clients' private affairs, but... don't the Masters of the Night-Wind use woven fabric instead of paper?
Mualani	Granny Citlali is without a doubt the most experience priestess I've ever seen. She's more than just an elder, she's like the coolest elder ever! Her predictions are always super accurate. A long time ago, she said the lucky colors for my business were pink and blue. Sure enough, pink and blue floaters are now my top sellers! While I was bugging her...uh, I mean, visiting her recently, she mentioned there was an outlander who could bring me good fortune... Ah, wait a sec! Aren't you an outlander!?
Ororon	Granny is actually a very straightforward person. She wears her emotions on her sleeve, you know? It's hard for her to hide what she's feeling. You're the same age as her, right? Or... are you even older? Sorry, I shouldn't ask. That was probably rude... But, if I'm right, maybe you could spend more time together. Granny's been surrounded by people younger than her for a long time, and she's probably had enough. I know she'll be happy to see you.
Xilonen	Citlali would occasionally come to my workshop to buy some ore. According to her, some ores can be crushed into powder and taken as medicine to help her with divinations and ceremonies. Hm? Have I ever asked her to read my fortune? No, I'm not interested in knowing the future. I already have enough to worry about with all my present work. Besides, I always get sleepy during divination rituals...
