Since the Chapter 1 Act 1 Archon Quest, players have encountered Mountain Shaper in different quests and events as a white crane with mostly dark brown, red, orange, and gold feathers.

Mountain Shaper Human Form

Mountain Shaper's human form was revealed in the Lantern Rite 2024 event quest, The Orioles Bask in Spring, The Heavens Present Auspices, alongside Moon Carver!

Mountain Shaper was shown to be a young man with dark brown hair, red eyes, and brown and white clothes. His hair is in a ponytail, with part of his bangs colored red, and he wore rectangular glasses.

An Adepti Living in Mt. Hulao, Liyue

Mountain Shaper is one of the remaining Adepti found in the region of Liyue. He lives primarily in Mt. Hulao, but occasionally visit his fellow Adepti in Liyue Harbor for special occasions.

Made a Contract with Morax in the Past

In Mountain Shaper's own words, Rex Lapis charged the Adepti with the protection of Liyue from any threat or harm, which they have always honored. Many of the older Adepti had this contract with Morax, while the younger ones like Yanfei do not.
