Versions are regular major updates that usually lasts for 42 days, regardless of the game server. Each Version has respective minor updates denoted by (Version X.#), where (#) corresponds to the order of when each update was rolled out.
All Versions typically have 8 minor updates, excluding Version 1, which only lasted until Version 1.6, as opposed to Version 2 and 3, both of which lasting until Version X.8. Version 4 is also expected to last as long.
It's not guaranteed, however, that this same version scheming will apply on the upcoming Version 5 update.
Version Phases are internal counters of each minor update that are divided into two Phases. A single phase lasts for 21 days, or 3 weeks, which is also representative of the availability of the Event Wish Character and Weapon banners of that Phase.
Hence, each limited banner in a single minor update are commonly referred to as Phase 1 and Phase 2 banners to specify which Phase each banner is part of.
Version & Phase | Dates |
---|---|
Version 5.3 (Phase 1) | January 1, 2025 |
Version 5.2 (Phase 2) | January 21, 2025 |
Server Maintenance is a bi-monthly system update scheduled to take at least 5 hours after commencing, which also signals the start of a minor patch. Although each Version has two phases, only Phase 1 gets a Server Maintenance for every update.
Furthermore, 300 Primogems are given to Travelers after each maintenance, and for every hour that goes past the 5-hour mark, Travelers who are AR5 and above, are eligible to receive a compensation of 100 Primogems.
