It was announced in the 1.5 Livestream that the weekly bosses will have their resin cost reduced to 30 Resin for the first three bosses you defeat in a week!
Lupus Boreas can be found in the arena deep in Wolvendom. Using the teleport waypoint and just following the path should take you right to it.
Most of Lupus Boreas' attacks will only hit anyone who is within the area of the frozen ground. This can help in avoiding the attacks while also having an idea on where Lupus Boreas will be next.
Lupus Boreas' attacks are mostly melee range so keeping your distance and attacking from afar is a good strategy. Bow users are very effective in this fight, so make sure you have them in your party!

When Lupus Boreas' HP is redcuded by half, he will immediately move to phase 2 and start with some charge attacks.
Use this time to replenish your stamina and wait for your abilities to cooldown. This way you can immediately use your Elemental Skills and Bursts to take him down once he is vulnerable to your attacks again.
The following are the best recommended characters to use for the Lupus Boreas.
When building your party, it is recommended to choose 1 DPS, then either 2 Sub-DPS and 1 Support or 1 Sub-DPS and 2 Support, depending on what characters you have available and built.
Use Lisa's Elemental attacks then switch over to Amber or Xiangling to do Pyro damage in order to trigger Overloaded elemental reactions for additional damage.
Having 2 or more Pyro element characters will activate the Fervent Flames elemental resonance. This will not only boost your overall ATK by 25%, but it will also counter Cryo effects by 40% making it the perfect Elemental Resonance for this boss fight.
Use Noelle's shield in order to reduce the damage you take especially during the 2nd Phase and be careful when using Barbara to heal as you will be affected by Hydro which will freeze you if attacked by Lupus Boreas' Cryo attacks.
Activating Fischl's Skill then switching over to a Pyro DPS like Hu Tao or Diluc will let you deal extra damage.
During Phase 2 Lupus Boreas will just stay in one place, get in close and activate Jean or Bennett's Burst and switch over to your Main DPS to deal extra damage while also healing.
You can also use Shields from Zhongli or Diona to avoid taking damage when nearby Lupus Boreas.
A front swipe attack that can be easily avoided by stepping back to get out of its range.
You can look at the frozen ground to check if you are within its range. This will allow you to avoid this attack and do some chip damage from a distance using your bow.
A slow yet powerful pounce attack that Lupus Boreas sometimes performs. Since the frozen ground can be seen in advance when Lupus Boreas is about to perform this attack, you can avoid this by moving out of the frozen ground.
A fast-moving charge attack that takes a few seconds to perform. You can avoid this by moving left or right
A powerful ground slam followed-up by an ice attack that goes on a straight line. Running left or right will allow you to avoid this attack because of its long charge-up time.
An ice shard that will fall from the sky from time to time during phase 2. Avoid this by immediately moving to any direction when a blue circle starts to appear on the ground.
You can use Dream Solvent to convert Lupus Boreas' Material drops.
