Similar to Dainsleif, Rerir was teased in a character announcement following the release of Version 6.1 Luna II. Since Dainsleif has long been hinted at being playable from the Storyline Preview: Travail, there's a possibility that Rerir may become playable in the same way!

Genshin - Rerir the Sinner

Rerir, along with the four other Sinners, were hailed in Khaenria'ah to be peerless in their respective fields. However, due to greed, and likely other unknown reasons, the Five Sinners fell from grace and pursued a ''world-shattering power'' they divided amongst themselves.

Rerir is also known as Rächer of Solnari, which loosely translates to Avenger of Solnari in German. Conveniently enough, Rerir is also a mythical figure in Norse Mythology, who was known for avenging the murder of his father.

Rerir's fragmented corpse was scattered all over Nod-Krai, which later on developed some sort of pseudo-instinct whose aim is to revive the original body of Rerir. And while his physical body is fragmented, the consciousness of Rerir seems to have lingered since his death, until he was able to visit each Wild Hunt site, slowly consuming Kuuvahki for his revival.

For days on end, the avatar of Rerir has been tormenting Flins' in Wild Hunt sites, for reasons that the Lightkeeper didn't know, at first. Until eventually, it was revealed by Rerir himself that the thing Flins possesses is the fragment of his heart, which is why the Sinner was keen on snatching it from Flins.

Can Use Kuuvahki

Over time, Rerir is able to gain the ability to harness Kuuvahki for himself, which enabled his corpse fragments to get nourished by the surrounding Kuuvahki, which Nod-Krai is teeming of. It was not revealed whether or not his ability to shapeshift is due to this borrowed power, but it can presumed that this is not the case since no one from Nod-Krai has displayed a similar ability yet.

Fiancée of Tholindis

Rerir, back when he was still human, was the fiancée of Tholindis, a researcher from the Universitas Magistrorum. The two had been living together for quite some time, and Rerir loved Tholindis so much that he proposed to her in just 2 years. Tragedy has it, however, that the two be perpetually separated because of their secrets.

Executioner of the Vinster King

Rerir works as a covert executioner of the Vinster King, leader of Khaenri'ah. While not a hitman himself, Rerir was tasked to execute the remaining members of the Crimson Moon Dynasty, the previous dynasty toppled by the Eclipse Dynasty. Coincidentally, Tholindis has Crimson Moon Dynasty blood flowing within her, which caused a rift between the two.

I don´t know who you are but, you are one of my hopes that makes me happy and say to myself Rerir playable. So Good Job and Keep It Coming

So Alice currently doesn't have an ID yet meaning she probably won't be playable in the 6.x versions. Nicole is still 131. It's weird that HomDGCat didn't update with Zi bai and Illuga for version 6.3 since the beta is supposed to start soon. We also don't know if the Manekins count for the 17 characters per patch cycle. My guess is that Rerir will be released in 6.6 with his boss fight. We'll probably know more when the character IDs are updated again.
