List of Contents
Loom of Fate is an Operation of the Abyss Order first encountered during the A Herald Without Adherents quest, when the defeated Abyss Mage dropped a talisman that contains information written in Khaenri'ahn script. Dainsleif described the inscription referring to the Loom of Fate Operation as ambititious.

In addition, this Loom of Fate operation involves completely transforming Osial's body while incorporating the Field Tiller technology in the process.
It can be remembered during the A Soul Set Apart quest, that the Eye of the Field Tiller will be inserted to the Defiled Statue, while Osial's limbs will be attached to it to created a mechanized god.
Eide, or Chlothar Alberich, the founder of the Abyss Order, mentioned that his illegitimate son, Caribert, became the Loom of Fate. It's still unclear what exactly happened to Caribert after he took off his mask during the Portended Fate Quest, but it's clear that it triggered something that enabled him to "weave his own fate".
In the 4.7 Archon Quest, Bedtime Story, the Loom of Fate has been completed with the help of Caribert himself. Being the very aspect of the Loom, Caribert implanted false memories on Dainsleif, which ultimately led the Field Tiller's eye to be handed over to the Abyss Order.
The eye is the only missing piece of the Loom, therefore the Loom of Fate had been completed the moment Caribert implanted to the memories to the Twilight Sword. Moreover, Caribert used the Loom to implant false memories to the residents of Vimara Village, to have a feel of what it feels like to be alive.
Chapter 4 Act 6 Archon Quest - Bedtime Story
The completed form of the Loom of Fate can weave new Ley Lines, according to Caribert. This is an incredibly powerful tool that can potentially alter the very reality of Teyvat, since Ley Lines are pathways made up of memories and elemental power.
However, Caribert also mentioned that the existing Ley Lines are already deeply entrenched to the planet, and that replacing them or extending them is nigh impossible.
