Boyang Story and Lore

Yelan's Ancestor

Boyang is a thaumaturge and one of Yelan's ancestors. According to her, Boyang disappeared 500 years ago while his brother went mad, leaving his fate unknown.

Fought at the Chasm 500 Years Ago

Boyang and his younger brother Rongzhao, fought alongside the Millelith at the Chasm 500 years ago. They were tasked to hold off the invading monsters from Khaenri'ah.

They encounter the Nameless Yaksha who helps them with the battle.

Trapped in the Chasm with Bosacius

In order to end the battle, it was decided to use a catalyst that could manipulate space and time called the Fantastic Compass to seal the invading monsters at the bottom of the Chasm. In order to do so, a human and a yaksha will have to work together, to which Boyang and the Nameless Yaksha volunteer. They are ultimately successful and manage to trap the monsters along with them in the Chasm.

They spend the rest of the time exploring the chaotic plane where they're trapped until they perish. The Nameless Yaksha often mistakes Boyang as one of his yaksha bretheren and forget why they're trapped.

Before the Nameless Yaksha could perish, he finally remembers who he is and introduces himself as Bosacius.
