Despite having a strict Bow or Catalyst requirement, the 4-piece set provides a constant Energy Recharge effect to both the equipped character and the party.

The Scholar set also has potential build-around value for a Bow and Catalyst only party composition.

Scholar Recommended Characters

Xingqiu	• The 2-piece set can compensate for the high Energy Cost of Xingqiu's Elemental Burst. This also makes choosing his second 2-piece set more flexible.
Mona	• Mona would get a definite boost on Energy Recharge and get her Elemental Burst back fast when the 2-piece set is equipped on her.
Sucrose	• The 4-piece set will ensure that Sucrose's massive AoE Burst will be back fast and if all or most of her party members are bow or catalyst users, they will get a share of Energy.
Bennett	• Bennett with the 2-piece set will make his Elemental Burst ready on-hand.
Venti	• The 4-piece set on Venti with party members who use a bow or catalyst will get their Elemental Burst back up immediately since he generates Energy very fast.
Lisa	• The 2-piece set would increase Lisa's Energy Recharge and remedy her Elemental Burst's high Energy Cost.
Diona	• Diona's high Energy Cost for her Elemental Burst will no longer be a problem with the 2-piece set.

The Scholar Artifact set enhances Energy Recharge which can ramp up the number of times you can use your Elemental Bursts.

It can be used as a 2-Set piece together with the Exile Artifact set for non-stop elemental burst use.

You can get a maximum of 4 bonus substats on any individual artifact piece by enhancing it. The bonus stats you get will be random and will not include the artifact's main stat.

Once a 5-star artifact has 4 substats, every 4 levels of enhancement will upgrade one of the available substats randomly. You can get a total of 4-5 substat upgrades.
