Haniyyah hails from the Sumeru Desert region, particularly from the Eremites where she's infamous for her beast taming skills.

Hardy-two Blades, the traveler's opponent during the Unfathomable Defenses quest, seems to idolize her a great deal.

Initially Hostile Towards the Fungi

From Haniyyah's notes read to her by ancestors, a horde of berserk Fungi trapped them in the rainforests of Sumeru. Because of this, Haniyyah was conditioned since she was a child to have untoward feelings against the Fungi.

Master to Pyro-1 / Kindlejoy

The Whirling Pyro Fungus of Haniyyah is originally named as Pyro-1, but she's had her change of heart, renamed it to Kindlejoy, referring to the spark of joy she felt when she first saw it.

Became the Safekeeper of Fungi

When Elchingen's and Kautilya's plans were thwarted and the Nilotpala Cup has finally came to an end, Paimon and the traveler made Haniyyah the safekeeper of the participating Fungi, to keep them safe and tend to them until the next Nilotpala Cup.

Developed the Fungus Mechanicus Game with Balfour

After the events of the Nilotpala Cup, Haniyyah and Balfour became the main organizers of the event. To keep the public's interest while the Wisdom Orb is being fixed, they invented the Fungus Mechanicus game!

Haniyyah travels all the way to Fontaine to conduct a preview event of the Fungi Tournament called Lil' Fungi's Fun-Tastic Fiesta in order to draw an audience and reliable investors for the official Fungi Tournament.

She can also be seen wearing a gorgeous Fontainian dress prepared by Souka, which is much different from her previous look.
