Tomo is the unofficial name given to Kazuha's friend by the community. Tomo comes ''tomodachi'' which is the Japanese word for friend.

Kazuha's Friend (Tomo) Story and Lore

Slain by the Raiden Shogun

During the Vision Hunt Decree, Kazuha's friend challenged the Vision Hunters to a duel before the throne. He lost the duel and received the Raiden Shogun's DIvine Punishment, the Musou no Hitotachi.

Masterless Vision

Kazuha only made it in time to hear his friend's punishment. He managed to snatch the Vision and ran away. The Vision lost its glow and power with the death of its previous owner.

The Masterless Vision was used in Beidou's contest, the Crux Clash as a prize in the hopes of reawakening it. Kazuha also mentions that he has tried various methods to try to reawaken the extinguished Vision.

During the battle with Raiden Shogun and the siege on the Tenshukaku, Kazuha was able to reawaken and wield his friend's Vision.
