The Genshin Map currently has seven main regions, namely Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Nod-Krai.
There are also several known sub-regions, such as Dragonspine, The Chasm, Chenyu Vale, Enkanomiya, Sea of Bygone Eras, and Ancient Sacred Mountain.

The Mondstadt Interactive Map shows all 66 Anemoculus, 10 Monstadt Shrine of Depths, and all local specialties, such as Calla Lily, Cecilia, Dandelion, Philanemo Mushroom, Small Lamp Grass, Valberry, Windwheel Aster, and Wolfhook.
Mondstadt is the Nation of Freedom and Music, the land of the Anemo Archon, Barbatos, and the first main region you will be able to go to. Mondstadt serves as the tutorial grounds and where the Prologue of the Archon Quest begins.

The Liyue Interactive Map has all 131 Geoculus, 10 Liyue Shrine of Depths, and all local specialties, such as Cor Lapis, Glaze Lily, Jueyun Chili, Noctilucous Jade, Qingxin, Silk Flower, Starconch, and Violetgrass.
Liyue is the Nation of Contracts and Commerce, the land governed by the Geo Archon, Morax or Rex Lapis. Liyue is located at the center of Teyvat, making its harbor the busiest and most well-known route for trading goods.

The Inazuma Interactive Map shows all 181 Electroculus, 10 Inazuma Shrine of Depths, and all local specialties, such as Amakumo Fruit, Crystal Marrow, Dendrobium, Fluorescent Fungus, Naku Weed, Onikabuto, Sakura Bloom, Sango Pearl, and Sea Ganoderma.
Inazuma is the Nation of Eternity ruled by the Electro Archon, the Raiden Shogun. Inazuma is divided into six islands, each with its own local specialties, enemies, and quests.

The Sumeru Interactive Map has all 224 Dendroculus, 10 Sumeru Shrine of Depths, and all local specialties, such as Rukkhashava Mushrooms, Nilotpala Lotus, Kalpalata Lotus, Padisarah, Sumeru Rose, Henna Berry, Scarab, Sand Grease Pupa, Trishiraite, and Mourning Flower.
Sumeru is the Nation of Wisdom and Dreams, governed by the current Dendro Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali. Sumeru is divided between Rainforest areas and Desert areas, with the Desert further divided into three main areas.

The Fontaine Interactive Map has all 225 Hydroculus, 10 Fontaine Shrine of Depths, and all local specialties, such as Beryl Conch, Rainbow Rose, Romaritime Flower, Lumidouce Bell, Lumitoile, Subdetection Unit, Lakelight Lily, and Spring of the First Dewdrop.
Fontaine is the Nation of Justice, ruled until recently by the Hydro Archon Focalors. In Fontaine, Travelers and Vision users can dive underwater and explore submerged areas!

The Natlan Interactive Map has all 249 Pyroculus, 10 Natlan Shrine of Depths, and all local specialties, such as Saurian Claw Succulent, Quenepa Berry, Sprayfeather Gill, Brilliant Chrysanthemum, Withering Purpurbloom, Glowing Hornshroom, Dracolite, and Skysplit Gembloom.
Natlan is the Nation of War, governed by the Pyro Archon. The current Pyro Archon is Mavuika, and there are six Tribes that make up the region of Natlan.

The Nod-Krai Interactive Map has all 112 Lunoculus, 4 Nod-Krai Shrine of Depths, and all local specialties, such as Portable Bearing, Moonfall Silver, Frostlamp Flower, Icy Pebble, and Rainbowdrop Crystal.
Nod-Krai is an independent sub-region not governed by any Archon. Although it is technically part of Snezhnaya, the people of Nod-Krai believe in the three Moon Goddesses and even utilize the power of the moon wheel.

Dragonspine is a sub-region of Mondstadt and is located at the south of it, sharing its border with Liyue! This frigid sub-region is encased in ice and snow.

The Chasm sub-region is Liyue's largest source of ores before mysterious circumstances caused it to close down. It consists of a layered, circular surface and winding underground mining tunnels.

The Chenyu Vale sub-region is Liyue's tea capital, located north of Liyue and sharing a border with Fontaine.

Enkanomiya is a sub-region located in a different space not included in Teyvat's surface, but it's entrance can be found in Inazuma's Watatsumi Island.

The Sea of Bygone Eras is a subregion of Fontaine, located in the underground area of Petrichor within the Nostoi Region. The entrance to the sub-region can be found on the west side of the town of Petrichor.

The Ancient Sacred Mountain, also known as the Sacred City of Tollan, is a sub-region in Natlan located within the volcano in Atocpan, around the area of the Collective of Plenty Tribe.

Chests can be found throughout the Genshin Map, both in the open world and in specific domains. You can collect rewards from them, like ingredients, weapons, ascension materials, EXP materials, Mora, artifacts, and Primogems.
Puzzles can be encountered in each corner of the Genshin Map, whether inside cities, forests, open fields, inside houses, or domains. When solved, they give rewards, such as chests, quest items, or gadgets that can help you explore.
Enemies are scattered around the Genshin Map. They can be either hiding in their dens, wandering around, doing various activities, or slumbering inside their own domains.
