The Millennial Pearl Seahorse can be located in an underwater cave North of the Liffey Region in Fontaine.
Players do not need to complete the 4.1 Archon Quests or any World Quest to be able to battle this boss.
To get to the Millennial Pearl Seahorse easier, Travelers should unlock the Statue of the Seven in the Liffey Region in Fontaine, near the starting point of the new location.
Go underwater and swim North of Fontaine, until reaching the secondmost nothern Teleport Waypoint that is underwater.

Swim northwest of the aforementioned Waypoint, until an underwater cave can be seen.
Travelers will find it once they see a Hydroculus and a water current that can let you swim deeper into the cave automatically.
At the end of the water current and rise from the water, there is a Teleport Waypoint near the Millennial Sea Horse. Make sure to unlock it to make future trips easier.
Simply continue along the path, then jump and hover your way to the floating island to fight the Millennial Sea Horse.
The Millennial Pearl Seahorse gains most of its power from the Xenomare Pearl located on its chest. Use Elemental Reactions to destroy the pearl and weaken it!
When the Millennial Pearl Seahorse performs its Fontemer Hoarthunder attack, it will create Resonant Coral Orbs on the ground. Destroy these orbs to deal significant damage to the Xenomare Pearl!

New and Upcoming Playable Characters
Ayaka Mono Cryo Team | |||
---|---|---|---|
Ayaka | Shenhe | Kazuha | Diona |
Ayaka is the best Cryo DPS against the Millennial Pearl Seahorse! Her Cryo-infused attacks, along with Skill and Burst, can quickly break the Electro Shield and the pearl on its chest. This team can also clear the Resonant Coral Orbs fairly quickly, especially using Ayaka's dash infusing Cryo to break them.
Bloom Team | |||
---|---|---|---|
Alhaitham | Yelan | Xingqiu | Yaoyao |
Hyperbloom Team | |||
Alhaitham | Nahida | Xingqiu | Raiden |
You can also use Bloom or Hyperbloom teams against the Millennial Pearl Seahorse! Though not as potent to break the Seahorse's Pearl, use Dendro and Hydro to deal consistent damage whenever it's on the ground. .
Vaporize Team | |||
---|---|---|---|
Yoimiya | Zhongli | Yelan | Bennett |
Yoimiya | Xingqiu | Yun Jin | Bennett |
The Millennial Pearl Seahorse can be pretty hard to focus its attacks. Its Shock Dive Attack and Fontemer Hoarthunder Strike in particular makes it hard to hit attacks and skills.
The Pyro and Hydro damage from Yoimiya's Skill and the Hydro Characters' Burst will have consistent DPS when attacking. The other characters are for supporting and boosting Yoimiya's attacks as much as possible.
