Razor's Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths
• Hexerei Buffs provides Razor more damage output and AoE into his kit.
• Being an Electro unit, Razor can easily trigger Superconduct, favoring his natural Physical DMG scaling
• Elemental Burst deals decent damage and defense boost to Razor.
Weaknesses
• Elemental Burst disappears upon switching characters.
• Attacks and skills have a short-range, which might cause some difficulty when dealing with waves of enemies.
• Requires another Hexerei Member to utilize the buffs.
• Must have C6 to be competitive to other Electro DPS.

Best Builds for Razor

Hexerei Main DPS Builds for Razor

With the new Hexerei buffs in place for Razor, he now stands out as an Electro DPS capable of slotting into most Electro reaction teams, provided he is accompanied by a Hexerei member.

Noting that down, focus on building Razor with a balanced mixed of ATK and CRIT as you will want him to be dealing the most DMG once he's On-Field.

Hexerei: Genshin - Razor ImageGenshin - Fischl ImageGenshin - Chevreuse ImageGenshin - Durin Image

Superconduct: Genshin - Razor ImageGenshin - Zhongli ImageGenshin - Rosaria ImageGenshin - Raiden Image

Razor's focus has shifted back to being an Electro On-Fielder, focusing on weapons that give him CRIT via secondary stats and passives that improve his Elemental DMG.

His build for Hexerei is generally the same as his standard build.

Razor Goal Stat Values

Stat Goal Value
ATK 2000 or above
CRIT Rate 70% ~ 80%
CRIT DMG 140% or above
Energy Recharge 130% or above

Razor wants to achieve around 2,000 ATK first and foremost to make sure that the rest of his CRIT stats are worth it. With that in mind, bring his CRIT to a healthy 1:2 ratio, with CRIT Rate's baseline at 70% to make for frequent CRITS.

Energy Recharge can be gained through substats to improve convenience, with 130% being the sweet spot, but it is not as big of a requirement if running him in a Hexerei team with a unit like Fischl.

Razor's Talent Priority

For a Main DPS Razor
1st Normal Attack
2nd Elemental Burst
3rd Elemental Skill

Razor's playstyle utilizes his Normal Attacks during his Elemental Burst, therefore we recommend on leveling up those talents respectively. Afterwards, level up your Elemental Skill to deal more overall DMG.

Best Artifacts for Razor

Razor Benefits From Normal Attack Artifacts

As Razor is an Electro On-Fielder that focuses on his Normal Attacks, artifact sets such as Echoes of an Offering and Gladiator's Finale work best on him due to how they particularly improve his Normal Attacks.

Thundering Fury still works as a good Electro option especially when he has no Energy Recharge, as that allows him to funnel energy to himself via more usage of his Elemental Skill.

Razor Best Team Comp

Thrives in Hexerei Teams

Razor works best in teams where his constant Electro attacks can be amplified by his teammates, along with being able to take advantage of the Hexerei buffs.

With that in mind, his best team consists of an Overload Hexerei team with other members of the Hexerei cast, but can be slotted to fit regular Overload teams as well.

Notable Hexerei Teammates

Character Explanation
Genshin - Durin Durin Sub-DPS
Durin improves both Razor's and his own damage, as well as any supporting Pyro units present in the team.
Genshin - Fischl Fischl Sub-DPS
Fischl alone can battery Razor's Elemental Burst, allowing him to have it up faster, as well as being one of the best Electro applicators in the game.
Genshin - Sucrose Sucrose Support
Sucrose increases Razor's DMG by a set amount via Hexerei buffs but also via her RES shred with Viridescent Venerer.
Genshin - Albedo Albedo Sub-DPS
Albedo works as a general flex unit to go along with Razor's damage, but also improves Razor's DMG via his DEF-scaling conversion.
Genshin - Mona Mona Sub-DPS
Mona's Omen state can improve the damage of some of Razor's attacks for a set period of time, especially now that Mona can increase the Omen state's duration.
Genshin - Venti Venti Sub-DPS
While Venti can group up enemies for Razor, there is a chance that some of Razor's attacks will miss due to Venti's Burst lifting them too high. Nevertheless, Razor appreciates the grouping potential that Venti can offer.

Fischl acts as another Sub-DPS and a battery to recharge Razor's Elemental Burst.

Razor Superconduct Team

Main DPS Sub-DPS Sub-DPS Support
Genshin - Razor Razor Genshin - Fischl Fischl Genshin - Rosaria Rosaria Genshin - Mika Mika
Genshin - Razor Razor Genshin - Raiden Raiden Genshin - Rosaria Rosaria Genshin - Zhongli Zhongli

Razor Hyperbloom + Aggravate Team

Main DPS Sub-DPS Sub-DPS Support
Genshin - Razor Razor Genshin - Nahida Nahida Genshin - Xingqiu Xingqiu Genshin - Baizhu Baizhu
Genshin - Razor Razor Genshin - Nahida Nahida Genshin - Fischl Fischl Genshin - Kazuha Kazuha

DPS-wise, Razor gets more value if placed in a Dendro Team as he can build Elemental Mastery and CRIT Stats to trigger Hyperbloom and Aggravate during his Elemental Burst.

As such, his Physical DMG would be irrelevant in this team, but the high damage potential from Dendro Reactions compensates this loss.

Razor Hexerei Team

Main DPS Sub-DPS Sub-DPS Support
Genshin - Razor Razor Genshin - Fischl Fischl Genshin - Durin Durin
Genshin - Razor Razor Genshin - Fischl Fischl Genshin - Xingqiu Xingqiu Genshin - Zhongli Zhongli

Razor's Hexerei buffs will allow him to overflow his Electro Sigils, causing his attacks to deal AoE damage. Most of his teams consist of Fischl as Razor benefits a lot from her additional combat capabilities with her buffs.

What do you mean "never accurate", lol? You're basing this on what, Razor just being 4*? Razor literally performs on-par, arguably better than, either of those two right now due to the faction buff. That's fact.

Being in the same Tier as Hu Tao and Alhaitham is just an insult at this point, Tier list was never accurate
