Mavuika Kit and How to Use

Pyro DPS or Sub-DPS

Mavuika's main strengths lie in the versatility of her kit, with her Elemental Skill able to function as both an On-Field option to power her up, and as an Off-Field effect that follows her allies and deal damage.

This allows her to shine as both a Main DPS that takes the field and annihilates enemies, or as a Sub-DPS that supports her teammates with her own damage from the sidelines.

Elemental Skill Has Two Modes

Mavuika's Elemental Skill has two modes that depend on whether or not she is On-Field or Off-Field.

Regardless of how it is used, using her Elemental Skill puts her in Nightsoul's Blessing.

Rides a Bike On-Field

On-Field, Mavuika rides her Pyro motorcycle and uses it as a weapon to run down opponents with Pyro-infused Normal and Charged attacks.

This will mainly be used as a way for Mavuika to defeat her opponents after her allies, Natlan or otherwise, have gone through their rotations.

Creates a Pyro Aura Off-Field

Mavuika's Elemental Skill manifests into a Pyro ring that appears behind the active character, dealing Pyro damage to enemies near them at set intervals.

This can be used as a way to keep up consistent Pyro applications and allow Mavuika to help out even when she is not in the spotlight.

Can Ride Through Land, Sea, and Air

Mavuika's bike is capable of climbing mountains, crossing seas, and soaring through the air, making it an all-in-one option for mobility.

Elemental Burst Buffs Nightsoul's Blessing

Mavuika's Elemental Burst has her leap into the air with her motorcycle before slamming back down into the ground and striking enemies with a circular slash from her Claymore.

No Nightsoul Point Consumption

The first effect done by her Elemental Burst is by halting any Nightsoul Point consumption from Mavuika, allowing her to retain her Nightsoul's Blessing state for the duration of her Elemental Burst.

Increases DMG Based On Elemental Burst Charge

The Elemental Burst also improves the damage of both the initial Burst cast and Mavuika's On-Field attacks depending on how powered up the Elemental Burst was at the time of casting.

Needs Fighting Spirit Instead of Elemental Energy

Unlike most characters in the game, her Elemental Burst relies on a currency called "Fighting Spirit" which is seemingly gained from attacking enemies.

This currency seems to be what allows her to use her Elemental Burst, and can be used even if it is not full.

Passive Talents Buff DMG

Mavuika has two Passives of note that provide overall DMG increases to both her and her team.

Mavuika's ATK is Increased After Nightsoul Burst is Triggered

One of Mavuika's Passive Talents sees an increase in her ATK after any Nightsoul Burst is triggered, giving her more strength in both her Main DPS and Sub-DPS capabilities.

Bonus DMG After Elemental Burst

After using her Elemental Burst, Mavuika is able to increase the On-Field character's DMG dealt, giving her Elemental Burst another layer of usefulness when it comes to playing her as a Sub-DPS.

It also provides the straightforward benefit of augmenting Mavuika's own DMG, further supporting her Main DPS playstyle.

Nightsoul Transmission Cooldown Reduced

When Mavuika is on your team, she reduces the cooldown of Nightsoul Transmission, allowing you to seamlessly transition between different Natlan characters at a faster rate.

Pyro Archon of Natlan

In the Version 5.0 Livestream, it was revealed that Mavuika is Natlan's current Pyro Archon, and is shown hosting Natlan's various war games, as well as preparing to face off against Capitano, one of the Fatui Harbingers.

Later on, she is seen leading Natlan in their crisis along with the rest of her people and the Traveler, showcasing both her strength as a warrior and her wisdom as a leader.

Chasca	Some people compare me to the Pyro Archon because of my track record in the Pilgrimage. It's a meaningless comparison. If the Pilgrimage was a tree, and I was a vulture on the highest branch, then the Pyro Archon would be the sun in the sky... The stronger you get, the more you appreciate the sheer size of the gulf between you and her. I just won a few championships — she's the champion of an entire era. But at least being on top with a clear view of the sky means I can see exactly how high I want to fly from here.
Kachina	About the Pyro Archon I never could have dreamed that the Pyro Archon herself would one day call me a hero of Natlan... She's the idol of every warrior in our land, so being recognized by her is like... (sniffle) I just get overwhelmed every time I think about it, sorry... (sniffle) Sorry, sorry! I shouldn't have started crying...
Kinich	For most of my life, I've been getting others to pay a price. Then, the Pyro Archon used the Ode of Resurrection to bring me back from the Night Kingdom, and suddenly I was the one paying the price... Only then did I finally understand it from both sides. To the stronger party, the "price" is a bargaining chip, and to the weaker party, it's a sign of what's at stake. What matters is whether you have the courage to make the gamble.
Mualani	The Pyro Archon is the most respected figure in all of Natlan. I really admire her, not only because she's the Pyro Archon, but because... she looks super cool when she surfs! I've challenged her to a race before, actually... huh? You wanna know who was faster? In that case, let's race, and I'll tell you once you beat me!
Ororon	I didn't really know the Pyro Archon before all this. I mean, I knew of her, but I didn't KNOW know her, you know? I used to think of her like a totem engraved with the word "strength," like a symbol of total power and control. But, it never went deeper than that, so doubt started to creep in. Now that I know her better, I feel grateful, but I'm also a little disappointed in myself... She seems so sure of her purpose. She has a fire inside her and knows exactly why it burns, so she won't ever let the flames go out. I want that... I want to be someone who can help Natlan. Anyway, so there's that, and um... I also noticed her eating a lot of leafy vegetables at the victory feast. When I asked her about it, she said she likes to keep a balanced diet. Kinda surprised me somehow. I guess she's more mindful of the little things than I expected.
