Eide's voice actor is Andrew Russel, as announced from his official Twitter account!
Eide's real identity is Chlothar Alberich, the founder of the Abyss Order. Eide is a fake name Chlothar Alberich used to cover up his true identity. The name is apparently taken from one of his servants, being a royal of Khaenri'ah.
Eide is father to his illegitimate son, Caribert, when he fell in love with a woman from Mondstadt, 500 years ago. When the gods cursed the nation of Khaenri'ah during the Cataclysm, Caribert turned into a hilichurl because of his mixed blood.
This drove Chlothar to save his son using the power of the Abyss, and establishing the Abyss Order after he experienced its power firsthand. This also implies that the cursed citizens of Khaenri'ah who turned into Hilichurls are of mixed-bloods.
Eide, or Chlothar Alberich and Kaeya Alberich, seem to belong to the same royal family in Khaenri'ah. This makes the two of them related, and Kaeya a royalty from Khaenri'ah.
