Genshin Impact Version 4.8 was released on July 17, 2024, following the usual six-week release pattern after 4.7.
Keep in mind, as with previous version updates, a server maintenance that usually takes up to 6-7 hours from the server reset takes place before Travelers can play Version 4.8!

In Version 4.8, Nilou will get her 4.8 skin, Breeze of Sabaa as a paid outfit from the Character Outfit Shop. Alongside her skin is Kirara's free skin from the 4.8 Flagship event, Summertide Scales and Tales, which Travelers can get by playing through the event!
In Version 4.8, Travelers can get the Envisaged Echoes, a new cosmetic feature that adds a visual effect on a character's sprint animation. Envisaged Echoes can be obtained from the Theater Lobby, and by exchanging Keys of Echoes thru Wolfy!
In the recent 4.8 Livestream, portions of the Natlan overworld map has been revealed, alongside characters that are possibly upcoming playable characters from the region!

Spiral Abyss Optimization | Travelers can now drag characters from in the Party Setup Menu in Spiral Abyss, which makes for easier and more convenient party setup! In addition, Astral Mark Status will be added in Version 4.8 to easily find characters from your roster! |
Hide Dialogue and Dialogue Review | In Version 4.8, Travelers can now hide dialogues during quests, as well as review dialogue logs to trace back previous conversations between characters! |
