Good for Plunging Attack DMG Dealers
Both the 2-set and 4-set of Long Night's Oath provide a significant boost to Plunging Attack DMG, making it a great option for characters whose primary source of DMG is Plunging Attacks.
This set is exceptionally useful for Varesa, who can easily trigger the 4-set effects due to her kit's combination of Elemental Skill, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks.

Long Night's Oath comes out as the new Best-in-Slot artifact set for Plunge DPS characters, setting itself up as S-tier due to the relevance of Plunge teams with the release of Varesa.
However, it falls short of reaching SS-tier due to it being locked to Plunge characters or a dedicated Plunge support like Xianyun.

You can get a maximum of 4 bonus substats on any individual artifact piece by enhancing it. The bonus stats you get will be random and will not include the artifact's main stat.
Once a 5-star artifact has 4 substats, every 4 levels of enhancement will upgrade one of the available substats randomly. You can get a total of 4-5 substat upgrades.

Anonymous 8 monthsit could be since he's good for plunging but if your current set has good stats and substats i recommend you keep them for him bc i've recently been farming the set for dps xianyun and the domain is pain. (if you do choose to farm it try matching it'll be easier)
